So… I ordered a few styles trying to find the ONE. Round , Square and Flat bar type . As I grew to suspect – flat bars are far superior in every way! Definitely, all models, shape of bars get hot and should be mounted out of reach of small children. Controllers have a lockout feature, so use it if kids with curious fingers are in home. This FLAT BAR warmer has controls that are HIGHER up & harder for kids to reach! This installs EASY ( mounted on stand offs, plug-in, turn on) AGAIN, all have Functioned well & Heat up quite fast. FOR ME -THIS flat bar model WINS !!1) FOR more even heating2) FOR SPEED in DRYING and3) Hands down looks better – IN MY OPINION. It could be the silver, but the flat bars make a big statement to me FEEL modern and it looks higher end to me as well. The controller location is not just better for people with little ones it’s also easier for adults to see and set at this location. Time will tell if it’s more effected by the heat though( I’ve felt they locate the control low to avoid heat damage to the control unit- so we’ll see what happens. Now , I feel its important to say because you really don’t think of it until your using one- that these being called being 8 bar does NOT tranlate to 8 BATH towel capacity. So do not think, “Oh no way, I need an 8 bar. I just need 2..” 🤔Hear me out – For optimal heat coverage, this can warm /dry 2 standard bath towels at once tops! One XL bath sheet. 8 hand towels , 16 or more washcloths, but One bar will NOT warm or dry an entire towel. Because TOWEL materials will not transmit heat along its fibers , however, more bars, heat more length. More bars = More EVEN heat across your large towel, which also means it will dry faster / warm faster and long timers are unnecessary! The flat bars further increase physical contact of the towels/ BAR and IT IS noticeably more effective. Timers that go up to many long hours maybe great for barbers , spas, hotels and other places where warm ,hot & /or steamy towels are an amenity & will be replenished as they are used continuously. SUCH extended timer are largely unnecessary in home use. At home these are great for warming a towel to use as you exit a bath, shower, pool, etc. .. and for drying those same towels completely to keep them from smelling musty, allowing longer reuse! Might be handy when kids have an earache too – ( mom used the oven back in the day- this is definitely safer !) With the controller set to 160° on the round and square warmers I got temps with my laser thermometer ranging from 106° to 176° depending on the exact spot. With this flat bar model, the temps are more even, I was reading 145° – 175°. ( It’s very important to remember 160° can cause 3rd degree burns nearly instantly- so DO be safe! ) ALSO NOTE – ON Fast warm or quick warm The temp does not get this high – still- ALWAYS grab the towels not the bar !! I DO NOT recommend a setting of 160°. ALSO For longer timers you should imo, chose moderate temp – temps like 120-130 which gives a good cushion to avoid burns ( heat rises and some variation across the metal is absolutely normal! Some areas are closer to the heating element -some further.. no doubt its not just a straight line or full coverage. Metal is quite conductive of heat. Heat naturally concentrates in high areas .. so , the variation Is not something I would concider a quality issue.. its just the dynamics of metal, heat, and spatial variance. This flatter bar does distribute heat better i think due to more even distance of the elements inside + reduced empty areas , more uniform thickness of the shape. Again take care of using high temps! This is a plug in unit that requires an outlet within 4 ft. This may be tricky! You may need to install an outlet! Most bathroom outlets are just NOT near large empty wall spaces! Finally -Even though the black ones “match” our oiled bronze better than stainless (arguably), I didn’t feel the black ones looked nearly as good as this one! I think this flat warmer would look nice in any color, but decided to go with silver to see it in our space. I like it & am over the metal matching game, lol, stainless, silver, mirrors , all sort of blend into creating a,l space where this looks natural in the space.. I just need to bring in more of it so it doesn’t stand out. I find it Dries towels enough in 15 minutes. Drying finishes as it cools just like in the drier cool down stage. Very happy with this ! Would, can, do recommend.

Installed one in every bathroom in the house, once you try it you need it!This one was straightforward to install and felt premium right out of the box. Everything lined up clean on the wall and once it was plugged in it was basically set and forget. The controls are simple and easy to understand so you are not standing there poking buttons trying to figure it out. Within a few minutes you can already feel it warming up which is always satisfyingThe fit and size are great if you actually want to warm more than one towel at a time. The extra bars make a big difference and towels can hang without bunching up. It sits nicely off the wall and looks more like a design piece than an appliance. The brushed gold finish really pops in the bathroom and gives off a spa vibe without looking flashy or cheapBuild quality is excellent. The stainless steel feels solid and heavy in a good way and nothing rattles or flexes. Heat feels even across the bars instead of hot spots and cool spots. The temperature control and timer are genuinely useful and the screen is clear without being overly bright or distractingUsing it daily has been great. Warm dry towels every morning and no damp smell hanging around anymore. It heats fast enough that you can turn it on before a shower and still get that warm towel feeling after. It also feels safe to leave running with the built in protections which gives peace of mind especially in a bathroom settingIt is definitely an investment but it feels worth it. You are paying for build quality features and that luxury feeling every time you grab a towel. If you want your bathroom to feel upgraded and a little indulgent this delivers exactly that. Hard to go back once you get used to it 😌
