What is the water flow rate for the water filter?
The water flow rate is 0.26 L/min, so it takes approximately 2 minutes to fill a 17 oz (500 ml) cup. After dispensing 17 oz of water, the machine will automatically stop.
Why it tells me to replace the water when the water tank is not fully empty?
The machine has a 3 to 1 ration of pure water to waste water. If the TDS in the water tank is above the limit, the machine will ask for a water change.
Why does my water dispenser develop a funny smell if I don’t use it for over a week?
No worries! This is normal and doesn’t mean your dispenser is faulty—it just means the filter needs a refresh to get back to delivering that crisp, fresh taste you love. Stagnant water can cause harmless bacteria to grow in the filter, causing odor.
How can I fix the odor from my water dispenser?
No worries, here’s what to do:
Step 1, Clean the Tanks;

Pro Tip: For future breaks longer than a week, store the filter in the refrigerator (sealed in plastic wrap) to prevent odors.
Why does the water dispense volume is not accurate after several months usage?
A descaling process is recommended every 1 – 2 months. Please refer to user manual for descale instructions.

Great product
Love it. Had it for about a month and it’s the most water I’ve drank in ages. Tastes crisp. The cold and hot water function are great. The water reservoir is big enough that I’m only changing it once or twice a week. That’ll definitely go up in the summer time. The Total Dissolved Solids display is a nice reminder of all the hidden GUNK it’s cleaning out of the water. Easy to use and the filter only needs to be changed yearly. I’ll quicky make my money back off this by not buying bottles and jugs of waters.

Leveled up Hydration
This water filter has leveled up my hydration. I am in an apartment with a sink faucet sprayer unit and corian counter that precludes me hooking up my previous under sink multipure water filter. Which has not always been the case in my homes. I have messed around with other solutions for years. Measured my TDS (total dissolved solids) this summer and averaged 60 ppm. Not terrible, not tasty. This was coming from the ‘filtered’ cold line. I have resisted the RO filters, wondering about the loss of minerals and negotiating that aspect. This Phillips RO remineralizing 6 stage filter is a dream. Affordable filter replacement and reasonable long life in the filter are important to me. Check. Slim footprint on the counter. Check. Not too onerous or heavy to refill the tank. Check. Looks elegant. Check. Classy Japanese video on how to set it up on utube. Smile. (Definitely worth the search and watch time for set up). TDS reading on the processing unit. Water now averages 6 ppm. Best of all, my water consumption has easily increased. Taste is clean and neutral. As water is imagined to taste. The pitcher holds enough processed water to be useful. Fairly quick processing. Not too noisy. Excellent water for coffee and tea. Smile.

Expensive, Possible Defect, and Hard to Reach Support
I paid almost $800 for this unit, and while the controls and functions work fine, the water tastes off to me. It could be a filter issue, but I’m not sure whether I received a defective unit or filter. The box also appeared as if it may have been opened before delivery.When checking other reviews, I noticed that another customer mentioned receiving what seemed like an open-box item sold as “new.” That raised further concerns for me about quality control.My bigger frustration has been with customer support. The number on the warranty card went unanswered when I tried it, and the number provided by Amazon connected me to a different department. In my experience, Philips support was difficult to reach, and it took a lot of effort before I finally connected with a helpful representative who is now assisting me.I also wasn’t able to leave seller feedback, which added to the frustration. Overall, given the price point, I expected a smoother experience.

After 6+ hours of research and almost not buying an RO, I got this for myself and for my mom and it’s the best thing ever!! Great value for money. Actually filters (tried with a water tester)! Durable, beautiful in the kitchen! Capacity is small but I just bought 6 glass water bottles and store them in the fridge! Don’t fall for fancy touchscreens that do nothing and faked their certificates, this one actually works and is just the basics! So many of the other companies are scam dropshippers without real American addresses and they simply don’t work and their certificates are fake. This is an investment in health.

Good but ….
Filtration is excellent and the water tastes great. The machine itself also looks very good.But…I wish the waste-water tank were separate or had a hose that could drain directly into the sink. The tank has a divided section at the bottom where the waste water collects, so you have to remove the entire tank, empty it, and then refill it with tap water.I wish the water pitcher/jug and water tank were dishwasher safe.

I’m not a review person, so for me to write this is a big deal!
I figured on doing the math for all the water I buy from TJ’s, bottled water from BJ’s and just random water I buy to always have a supply on me, I decided to buy this unit; albeit it had very little reviews on youtube or here for that matter. I have tested the water every single time before I drink it. I notice that when it’s on the lower end when I have to replace the water reservoir, the TDS is a bit higher (ranging from 1-24 so far). The water tastes great, I add Hylyte to my drinks before and after workouts and it tastes even better, I feel more satiated. I find myself getting more thirstier as I am assuming this water has a effect on my system. I definitely feel way more hydrated because I’m motivated to drink more. I also ordered more glass bottles as it’s super easy to just fill a few and go. I wanted to get the larger version, but this will do fine for awhile as it’s just myself. The only caveat is having to refill the reservoir continuously as it’s only 9 cups. Overall, I love the unit, glad I don’t have to buy water anymore! It’s sleek, stylish, doesn’t take up much space and it’s not loud. I am curious if the filter will last a year as they advertise. Time will tell.

A rental apartment must-have
LOVE this filter. We bought it to have access to better water in a city rental apartment. It is a little high maintenance with constant water refills (since about 1/3 of the water then needs to be poured out), but for a small apartment and counter, highly functional – I don’t know how we’ve lived without it. You can tell the water quality difference right away, can never go back to our Brita and Pur pitchers. We also refill the bottle right away, and thus never have to wait two minutes for the next one. It’s really worth the effort.Great value for money, and easy to clean and take care of.

Pros:- Fixed temperature level settings is very convenient- Water dispenses pretty quickly- Large water tank- One of the few hot and cold RO countertop products- Extra pitcher is handy- Easy to change filter- Has mineralization- Has different water volume options- Has TDS monitor / filter remaining life- Has safety lockCons- Cold water needs 20 minutes before it’s able to dispense- After cooling is done, it is recommended to flush out the system, so not as convenient as expected- Large water tank means it gets heavy to refill (you can’t just pour more water into the tank)- Water tank and pitcher are made of plastic- Measurements in Oz and F (can’t be changed to metric)Overall a great countertop RO system. The ambient, warm and hot water temperature settings work well for most of our daily uses and having the pitcher as an additional option is great as well. We haven’t used the cold water too much because it’s such a hassle having to wait for it to cool, and then flushing it out after. Safety lock is great to have so our kid doesn’t accidentally trigger it.
