Easy to use, great security camera
Great functionality, amazing long range with clear video and audio quality. Battery life seems very good provided it’s not in a high traffic area (putting a view of a busy street or sidewalk will kill the battery quickly). Seems very well made- waterproof with a sealed USB C charger port for power if you want to install as a wired camera rather than using batteries, but the app monitors battery levels so you’ll know whenever they need to be replaced. I have several of these cameras, some running on our home Wi-Fi network and others using the XR feature to keep watch over a greater area of our property. Two way audio has very little delay, even in XR mode and setup in the blink app is easy- as with all blink products, the app will walk you thru mounting and adding the camera to your system. Whenever they pickup motion, all my blink cameras stitch together the recordings in order of appearance using the cloud plans AI detection so I can clearly track any vehicle or person from the moment they enter our property, across all cameras’ field of view thru to whenever they exit the property again. Used in tandem with a blink floodlight cam on our garage & doorbell cam at our front door, with the could storage subscription plan I’m very satisfied my home and property are being monitored 24/7 for my family’s safety & well-being.

Wow 🤩 Loved the cameras already but the new XR sync module is amazing!!
These cameras are incredible! We have had 3 Blink Outdoor 4 cameras for over a year now and they reach about 200 feet from our house with the regular sync module. I decided to purchase two more with the XR Sync Module to see if they would work at the distances advertised. I have to say I’m blown away by their performance on XR+. They are well worth it for us even with XR+ having a saver option as the only selectable video quality and no use of the microphones. I installed one at our gate which is 532’ from our house where the sync module is plugged in and one at our barn which is 295’ away through a lot of trees. They were super easy to install. There is a XR option that allows standard HD video quality but ours had to be on the XR+ option to connect at the distance I placed them but they still show 2 bars of connectivity to the sync module so I could probably go even further with them if I needed to.Both cameras pick up motion well both day and night and the video quality is pretty good for being in saver mode. I still can’t believe they work so far away and it’s nice to have extra security on our acreage. Now I know when I have packages or mail delivered or if something is in our barn that shouldn’t be such as coyotes or bobcats. I’m always checking them and the batteries are still going strong. I wanted to purchase 2 more cameras with the XR module but there was a limit of one purchase because of the Prime Day deal. I will definitely be purchasing them again next year because there are other spots I’d like to put cameras up that are further away than the regular sync module can handle.I’ll attach pictures to show how far they are from our house and some of the night and day image quality. I used the measure tool on Google Earth for measurements. I highly recommend them!

Nice security cameras
These are nice cameras for the price. They were very easy to mount, I did it myself. They seem durable. They’ve been through rain, sleet, snow and negative temperatures so far and have been fine. I love the live view, I can monitor from work. The instructions were very simple and I love the design of the app. All very simple. They distinguish between a person, a vehicle or just motion (like an animal moving). It provides comfort and peace of mind knowing I can monitor things in real time. The picture and audio are clear. Overall a nice camera.

Good and Reliable Value
Have used Blink outdoor cameras for several years and always found them to be reliable. The battery life is pretty close to 2+ years but depends a bit on outside temperature and more importantly how much they are triggered by activity. I have one in my Palm Springs home monitoring the pool equipment which is going on 4 years with the same battery. The XR feature can only be used on two cameras per base station but that is not much of a problem since they all connect well with standard settings. The only knock I have is that the Ring cameras I also use have clearer and sharper images but require electrical connections.
