Nice multi-tool with a few flaws
This snowflake multi-tool has a clever design that incorporates 18 different tools, including a flat head screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver, and a beer opener. However, the two screwdrivers are quite small. And the majority of the tools are allen wrenches and hex key wrenches, with metric measurements. Those are not tools that I would have a use for on a daily basis. So this isn’t the kind of tool I would need to always have on hand. I would have preferred it if this tool came with more screwdriver heads. It comes with a key ring and a hole to attach it. (It was a little difficult to attach and even harder to get off.) However it’s really quite heavy, and not something I would want to add to my keychain or to put in my pocket. There is a nice little cheat sheet on the back of the box that it comes in, which shows you what all the tools are. (Although the print is tiny and difficult to read without aid.) And that’s kind of important to have because the tool isn’t marked. So for example, it would be difficult to tell the difference between the 6 mm allen wrench and the 7 mm allen wrench, other than by trial and error. So it really makes sense to keep the tool in the box.But then you have to not use the key ring at all, because once it’s attached the tool won’t fit in the box. It would have been nice if all of the ends were marked. Also, according to the back of the box, the center circle is both the 14 mm allen wrench and the 14 mm hex key wrench. And that makes no sense to me.And given that the tool is so short, and a little awkward to hold when you’re using it for the hex key wrenches, I’m not sure how much leverage you have with it.So all in all it’s a clever tool but I’m not sure how much use I will get out of it.

Handy little device, takes us virtually not space.
This snowflake-shaped gadget is surprisingly useful! It packs 18 tools in one—wrenches, screwdrivers, bottle opener, and more—all in a pocket-sized, rust-proof design. I have to admit, I haven’t yet learned how to use all of the features, but it makes me feel like a female version of MacGyver, and if there’s a disaster, I think this would be a good thing to add to your go-bag.It’s sturdy, easy to carry, and makes a great gift for anyone who loves gadgets or being prepared.

More of a gadget than a real tool
First, let me say this is a clever idea – one small tool to perform a multitude of tasks – and it gets points for that. But in trying to be a multi-tool for all your needs, it ends up being mediocre overall. So it’s best looked at as a trinket or maybe a last-ditch emergency tool, and that’s reflected in the low price.Build-wise, it’s actually pretty crude, with sharp unfinished edges, pitting, and a lack of crisp edges. It’s apparently cast instead of machined, so it’s more difficult to maintain tolerances, but a machined tool would be considerably more costly to manufacture and to buy. The tool is dominated by less-used hex-head drivers (metric), with only two screwdrivers, one each Phillips head and flat blade, and neither is particularly useful because of their size or shape. There are hex ‘wrenches’ (also metric) built into the snowflake design, but they would be clunky to use due to the awkward size of the overall tool and the lack of leverage available. It could be carried on some belt key rings, but it’s too heavy and sharp-edged to pocket carry.Overall this is a good concept, but in trying to be all-purpose it ends up doing nothing well. As an inexpensive fun gift or maybe even a “gimme” thank-you gift for customers, it would be fine, but it’s certainly not a serious tool.3 stars is the best I can give it.

Sturdy enough to get the job done, works well for generic tasks
Works pretty well! Sturdily built, not super detail oriented, but gets the job done. One thing that is a little disappointing is that the ring it comes with won’t let you put it in the plastic box if the ring is attached. If you put it on your keychain, it’s pretty heavy and tends to poke and catch on stuff, naturally, because of the arms. I much prefer keeping it in my computer bag so I can use it to adjust monitor arms or help take apart desks at my job. It’s super handy, I’d recommend this for someone. It’s a cute gift that’s also useful

Handy Little Gadget That Packs a Punch
I got this snowflake multitool for my husband, and he was immediately impressed—so much so that our son asked for one too! It’s surprisingly sturdy for something that fits in your hand, and it comes in a little case with a keyring if you want to clip it to your bag or keys. But honestly, we found the best spot for it is the glove box. It’s just one of those tools that comes in handy when you least expect it.With 18 different functions packed into a clever snowflake design, it works as a screwdriver, wrench, bottle opener—you name it. Great for quick fixes on the go or those little projects that pop up when you’re out and about. My husband used his to tighten something on his bike and open a stubborn bottle cap all in the same day. It’s made from rust-proof steel, so it’ll last, and it’s just a fun, practical gift idea for Father’s Day or Christmas. I think it’d be great for anyone who likes gadgets—dads, sons, even daughters who like to tinker. Definitely one of those “why didn’t we have this sooner?” kind of tools.

It is pretty heavy
I received this product as part of the Vine program. It is an interesting concept that includes a number of features that may come in handy when you do not have your normal tools at hand. It includes a slot screwdriver #2, a Phillips head #1, hex drivers, and various nut drivers. It appears to be reasonably made but I am unclear that you should put a lot of pressure on the heads. That is probably not a problem in that the design does not align well for putting a lot of leverage on it. My biggest problem with the product is that it is not light. It comes with a key chain adapter but I would probably not want to have this in my pocket. I suspect that it would wear a hole in your pocket. I do think this would be a nice product to keep in your glove box. It might also be handy to hold a nut in place while screwing the bold into it.
