This is a great portable media player. Easy interface. It plays every video format I’ve thrown at it, without lag / stuttering / tearing / sync issues. Instant loading and scrubbing (FF/REW) along with a play count for each video.Comes with a remote, HDMI cable, power adapter, USBC cable and a little carry bag.I really like how I can load up a USB stick or microSD card and just pop it in. Even after adding a 2TB SSD, this thing is remarkably lightweight.I expected this to be another cheap piece of e-waste; I was pleasantly proven wrong!

Fabulous. Why get a media player that doesn’t take a SATA drive?
If you are ripping dvd/blurays, you need somewhere besides your computer HD to put them. This works great. I put a 2 TB WD SSD inside. I just wish it was made more robustly is my only gripe. Thankfully it uses a full sized HDMI and it has a nice remote. I need a travel bag for it…guess I’ll look on Amazon for that too.

Treasure chest!
The contents of the box came complete as described. (Without hard disk) I can watch the movie I want without the need for the internet. It has a small carrying case. It can be easily transported. Equipped with HDMI and composite AV ports for compatibility with both modern and older TVs. Can accommodate up to 8TB of external HDD storage and 1TB of microSD card storage. It keeps my important documents, all the music I like, and many movies for movie nights without any problems. It’s almost a treasure chest. I’m glad I bought this device.

Great little 4K media player
I bought this 4K player and have been very happy with it. The best part is that I can continue using my old mini SD cards and external hard drives; they were recognized instantly without any issues, and video playback is very smooth. Another pleasant surprise is that its USB port can also output audio, so I connected it directly to my sound system, and it works great. Installation was simple, and the 4K video quality is very clear. Overall, this is a simple, practical, and affordable device that completely meets my needs.

Great Media Player
The JLZNLC Media Player has great video player with excellent picture quality. Of course, the quality of your MP4 file being played will determine the quality of the picture being displayed. It played all the file types I tried to play on it(|Video MKV, MP4 h.264 & h.265, M4V,|Audio MP3, AAC,|Photos, |File documents, etc). While the remote provides the way to navigate through the menus, it does have a computer feel to it. One quirk is that you must choose a file type (video, music, photos, etc.) before you choose a file to play. If you plan on using an internal drive, make sure it is a 2.5 inch drive less than 12mm thick, a 3.5 inch drive can be accessed only through USB ports. The device itself is made of a light-weight plastic and has a cheap feel to it. A heavy HDMI cable can lift it up or twist the player around. However, its performance outweighs any of these inconveniences.

I had problems with my old media player playing some file formats. This player has no problems at all playing all my file formats, both video and audio.It’s quite a small unit (compared to my old one), very little lag and fast read times on my 8TB drive on a Samsung TV.I would recommend this player.

In the description it should mention that it’s for the American market ,as I had to buy a plug adapter before I could use it .having said that it dose work well.used a 1 tb external drive to show my films and the picture and sound was very clear.easy to set up.

This 4K media player is a solid all-in-one solution for playing local media stored in variety of video format.Even though most of the media is consumed via streaming, sometimes stored media in local library still need to be played without relying on streaming.This is easy to setup, I easily removed the enclosure casing and it’s easy to install my hard drive and then reinstall the casing again.All video formats on the hard disk (even formats that are not recognized previously) are properly recognized and plays smoothly including mp4, mpg, mp3 H.265 and H.264 formats, and supports a wide range of files like MP4,MPG, MKV, MP3, and JPG.It’s great that it doubles as a hard drive enclosure—fits 2″, 2.5″, and 3″ SATA drives, and also reads from USB and SD cards.The HDMI output delivers crisp visuals to the connected Monitor. The analog AV output is a nice bonus for older displays.Remote control allows easy control of the media. Simple, effective, and worth the price.

Not as good as I expected but will suffice if it carries on working. It is fitted with a US plug/power supply rated at 110v to 240v so running on the limit over here, there’s no option to have a UK plug fitted so in the UK you will have to purchase an adaptor to use it.
