Very pleased with this purchase
So far I love this watch. It was more expensive than my first amazfit, but better quality and much cheaper than a fitb** (which hasn’t had good reviews for a few years). I love that I already had the Zepp app, so the transition between watches was seamless. This amazfit’s biometrics are soooooooo much more accurate than my previous model. I like that it works with Alexa, and it pairs and works well with my iPhone. The heart rate monitor, pedometer, and other features is far superior to my previous model. I haven’t and will not be testing whether or not it’s waterproof. The screen is bright and clear (which is important with visual impairment). The leather band is really nice and makes the watch look better quality. It’s been 3 days and my watch is still above 60% battery. I like the new disk charging mechanism which works with a type c cable, but also will charge on the cable from my Bip3. I truly recommend this watch. It’s a reasonable price point, great features with a bright and clear screen and pairs well with all my other devices.

Amazfit Active 2 Review: The Garmin and Apple Watch Rival I Didn’t See Coming
As someone who has used everything from Apple Watches to various Garmin models, I went into the Amazfit Active 2 with high expectations—and honestly, it has blown me away. For a watch that sits at such an aggressive price point, I felt like the “premium” experience starts the moment you start unboxing the product.First Impressions: The “Out-of-the-Box” FactorThe packaging is surprisingly impressive. Often, budget-friendly options lack in this area and it can be obvious that it is a budget-friendly option just purely due to the packaging alone. But Amazfit clearly took a page out of the high-end playbook here. The unboxing has the kind of presentation that makes you feel like you’ve bought a piece of luxury tech rather than just a cheap fitness tracker.Setup & Sync: Pretty Effortless IntegrationIf you’ve ever struggled with a finicky Bluetooth pairing process, you’ll appreciate how seamless this is. Just turn on the Amazfit 2, download the Zepp app, scan the QR code and you’re set.Within three minutes, I had my notifications configured, my health data syncing, and a new watch face installed.- Note, my watch did force me to update the software prior to being able to doing too much on the watch. This took about 10 minutes. The UI: Smooth, Snappy, and Spot OnThis is where the Active 2 truly earns its keep. Coming from the fluid (but battery-hungry) Apple Watch and the data-rich (but sometimes clunky) Garmin interface, I was skeptical about Zepp OS.The UI on the watch is exceptionally smooth (almost too smooth? If that can be a thing). There’s no noticeable stutter when swiping through widgets, and the touch response is immediate. The app icons look premium and overall I think it will be a great option to track my fitness and sleep. The VerdictAs someone who has lived in the Apple and Garmin ecosystems, I am genuinely impressed. The Amazfit Active 2 doesn’t just “compete” for the price—it stands on its own merits for design, ease of use, and software performance. If you want the premium feel without the “premium” tax, this is the one.

Packed with Features, Beautifully Designed, and Amazingly Reliable
I’ve been using my Amazfit watch for almost three months now, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed. First off, the display is incredibly bright and easy to read, even in direct midday sunlight. The resolution is so high that I can’t see any individual pixels. It has that “retina” quality feel to it, very crisp and clean, making it a pleasure to glance at throughout the day.I was initially worried about water resistance, especially in the shower, but those concerns quickly disappeared. I shower with it regularly, and there have been zero issues. The watch still looks as good as the day I got it. The band is stylish and the whole thing just looks way more expensive than it actually is.The crystal is impressively hard. Despite daily wear and tear, it still has no scratches. I also really appreciate the heart rate monitor. I typically use it in walking mode, and it gives me accurate, continuous heart rate readings during my walks. The display stays on the entire time during exercise sessions, which is super convenient. I’ve noticed some minor artifacts in the heart rate readings during certain motions like brushing clothes with a stain remover brush or walking with an umbrella (used as a walking stick), but outside of those moments, the readings are spot on.There are many exercise modes, and I use 3 of them regularly for walking, cycling, and free training. Walking and cycling give me detailed data including GPS routes, elevation, speed, and more. The heatmap in the phone app is especially cool. I use the free training mode when doing yard work or any physical activity that doesn’t involve much movement. It still tracks my heart rate, which is exactly what I want.Another feature I really love is the daily heart rate summary. I have it set to take readings every minute, and at the end of the day, I get a clear picture of how much time I spent in different heart rate zones. That level of detail is incredibly useful.Battery life is solid. I usually get at least two days per charge, and that’s with heavy use. I also love the variety of watch faces available. There are plenty of free options, and even the paid ones are very affordable. It’s easy to customize the look however I want.I can read part of my text messages right from the watch, and while I can’t reply, it’s still convenient. I can also take phone calls through the watch, as long as my phone is nearby. If the phone’s too far away, it doesn’t work, but for most day-to-day situations, it’s just fine. Getting all the usual iPhone alerts on my wrist is a nice bonus too. Some downsides I’ve found is that the calorie meter is overly generous during workouts, the O2 readings at night are questionable when comparing it to my oxygen ring (the watch appears to show non existent desaturation events), the oxygen readings must be taken without movement (no readings while exercising), and an inability to send text messages. But honestly, that’s easy to live with considering how much this watch does right. In short, this watch is packed with features, reliable, stylish, and just an excellent value. I’m really happy with my purchase.

I was indeed “amazed” to see this Amazfit active 2 premium watch. And more so at this price range it worth each of your buck. I won’t write much on its gr8 features as it well written already by others. The look and feel of this gadget is impressive. It works well on each of its features viz fitness workouts, accuracy or heart beat and spo2 I loved the auto workout detection – a welcome change from my earlier fossil watch which was supposed to be a premium one and yet no such option. At this price range it beats most of its peers on functionality and effectiveness. Considering its awesome features and functions and utility – On price it has no competition at all. One more thing – it’s compatible with iPhone – works like a charmA sure go to product if you are a conscious fitness enthusiast !

Lightweight, Extremely Accurate, and Outstanding Battery LifeAfter using the Amazfit Active 2 (44mm) for a full year, I can confidently say this smartwatch delivers exceptional value. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight the watch feels on the wrist. It is comfortable for all-day wear, including sleep tracking.Battery performance is one of its biggest strengths. Even with sleep tracking turned on, I charge the watch only twice a month. In one full year of usage, I have used my 4× charger cycle in a single month, which shows how efficient the battery truly is.In terms of accuracy, the watch performs exceptionally well. I have compared the readings many times with other brands and devices, and the results are equally accurate and consistent. The Zepp app is another major advantage. It provides reliable syncing, clear reports, and strong customization options. The support for custom open-source mini-apps made by developers is extremely useful, especially small apps for exercise, notifications, and utility functions.Overall, this smartwatch stands out because of its light weight, long battery life, high accuracy, and excellent app ecosystem. A solid, dependable product that has impressed me throughout the year.
