Looks like regular sunglasses. 🤙 The AI is pretty basic. The responses are basic. Battery life is fairly good and the case as a portable charger extremely cool. Why did I get these? FOR THE CAMERA.The video recording is good. Good picture quality and this is the only camera glasses with image stabilization. When manufacturers make wearables recording video image stabilization is a must. Here its good. The footage is not shaky. But this coolness is only available in 1080p even though this records 2k or 2.7k. The app works fairly good but a tiny bit finicky as videos are not always loading to your gallery on phone or app automatically.The app in general is cool in creating some videos but again basic and limited with restrictions.The thing I don’t like is connecting to an app which all these companies do to grab your data. Seems to be more about the app than the product.They only things that bug me about this is the 5min recording limit and the flashing light that is a distraction to the person being filmed. There are no blinking lights on our cellphones when recording. You can turn off LED blinking lights on all cameras but here they claim some privacy issues.When in public there is no right to privacy. When in private property and you suspect anyone recording with anything and you don’t want it then say so other than than that there are cameras everywhere. They can record us but we can’t record them? We don’t need the blinking light and we need longer record times.I would like a seperate SD slot so I don’t have to connect to my phone all the time to pull footage. These aren’t waterproof so… This is a quality product with good audio and video. Interested in any updates to turn off the blinking LED and recording time extensions.

I bought the Meta Ray-Ban (2nd Generation) smart glasses with Transition lenses and ended up pretty disappointed with the overall quality. For the price — around $500 — I honestly expected much more.The only real strong point is the video quality in good lighting. In bright daylight, videos look sharp and clean. Photos also look great when lighting is ideal. However, as soon as the light drops even slightly, the video quality becomes very poor — it feels like something recorded on an old phone from the early 2000s.I did enjoy the built-in speakers — it’s convenient to walk around listening to music or taking calls without earbuds. That’s a nice feature.But the Transition lenses are very weak in real sunlight — the darkening effect is minimal and doesn’t really provide proper sun protection. The build quality is also disappointing. The glossy coating scratches extremely easily. When folded, the arms touch each other, and my glasses started getting scratched within just two weeks of normal use.Battery life is another big downside. When recording video — especially in 3K — the battery drains very fast. I constantly have to put them back into the case to recharge, which is very inconvenient when you spend a lot of time outdoors.The built-in AI feature feels completely useless to me — it doesn’t add any real value to daily use and seems like an unnecessary gimmick.Also, the lack of a pause function when recording video is very frustrating. If you need to stop for a moment, you have to end the recording completely and start a new clip. Later, when the videos sync to the phone, all those small clips have to be found and manually stitched together — and sometimes they don’t even upload in the correct order, which only adds more hassle.Overall, I’d rate these glasses a 3 out of 5. The idea is great, but for such a high price the quality, durability, battery life, lens performance, and software features should be significantly better.

Pros: They fit well, comfortable enough, camera quality is decent, delivery and packaging were all great.Cons:1. Lens quality is cheap. It dosent darken quickly and dosent get dark enough. Also the transition dosent work while driving a car or riding a motorbike as the lenses react to UV light instead of visible light and car windshield and motorbike helmet visors filter out UV light so it dosent get dark while driving or riding. I expected XTRActive lenses at this price point which would transition based on visible light.2. Meta AI app uses way too much bandwidth. While outside it goes through 1GB of my mobile data in 10 minutes even though I am just listening to music on the glasses and not asking any AI questions. Data is crazy expensive in Dubai so remember to block the meta AI app from using cellular data.3. Camera angle is a bit awkward from the top left so feels a bit different compared to what you see but it’s not a deal breaker.
