I LOVE them, except…
These grips make so much sense: they allow me to hold my controllers to my hand without having to squeeze then, they give a nice cushion to the controllers for when (not if, but when) I smack them on something accidentally, they give a nice, textured grip that makes it comfortable and easy to hold on to, and they have a quick access door on the battery cover, something that should have been on the OEM controller design. It’s EVERYTHIGN I knew I wanted all wrapped up into two little controller covers.Except, it’s not. I mean, it absolutely lists everything I just listed above, but it comes with some unintended concequenses. When I wear the controller via the strap, my hand size (I wear a size medium glove) is as such that I can no longer reach all of the buttons easily. Instead, I have to wear the strap between my knuckles to get the leverage and reach I need in order to use the controller appropriately. With a different strap position, this would be perfect.The other issue I have is sometimes the silicone controller cover covers up the little light sensors on the controller. This means that my headset will sometimes have difficulty tracking my controllers appropriately. It can be rather annoying when I’m using the headset and it thinks my right controller is somehow 7 or 8 feet to the left of me, floating in the air.So yes, it’s good. It’s VERY good, actually. It’s just not perfect for me.
