Works as intended. Great value for the price. No lag with videos or games on a 75” tv.This is intended for tables and phones. Turn your monitor/tv on first then plug this into your device. Otherwise you may have to unplug and then replug this into your device to get video.Yes it will work on laptops but there are better options for laptops. Ignore the negative reviews from people using this with a laptop and complaining about it blocking ports. If you are using a laptop or desktop get a USB-C to HDMI cable.To address the YouTube granny negative review, this is not a hub. It is not a port. It will not show up as such if you plug it into your computer. This is a splitter. It splits USB-C into data, power, and audio/video. Plugging it into your computer with nothing plugged into it does nothing but confuse old people and their tech support grandkids.

I know the reviews are all over the place. I expect it has a lot to do with the phone or devices you are using. I have it attached to a Samsung S22 for videoing with a seperate monitor to view and it works absolutely perfect for me. Keeps my cellphone battery from running down to empty while the cellphone is plugged into the monitor.I actually bought two, and run the same setup on an S23. Again, no problems here.
