These are the best pillows I’ve ever owned. I originally bought a pair for my husband and I about 5 yrs ago and we loved them so much, i immediately bought them for both of our children also. Since then, these are still our favorite pillows. The cooling affect is really nice but even without that, they’re just really good, heavy, super comfortable pillows. We take them with us literally everywhere we go if we’re staying overnight because we don’t sleep good with other pillows now. I praised them so much that my sister bought them and of course loved them and bought them for both of her children also. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good quality, super comfortable pillow that has the added bonus of the cooling gel(that really does work great btw).

Cool Gel Cooling Pillow
I have used a cooling memory foam pillow with a gel top for several years, but a few months ago, I purchased what I thought would be memory foam that turned out to be cut up pieces of foam. I tried to like it, but it just got worse and worse. It left me with terrible neck, shoulder, and back pain every day. I decided to purchase this pillow because it looked similar to my last pillow similar to this one. The very first night with this, I slept better than I had in months! This pillow is pretty firm, so if you want something squishy, this ain’t it! The cooling gel on the top keeps my head fairly cool most of the night. I have to move a bit at night to reach that cool area again. I have regained support in my neck and shoulders and wake up without pain. This pillow retains it shape without making you have to fluff it up throughout the night, again, it’s a firm pillow. The support in my spine is great! I usually sleep on the edge of my pillow due to sinus issues, so the size of this pillow is excellent and I no longer have to sleep on the edge. So many other reviews complained of a terrible smell from this pillow, but I opened this one, let it decompress for a day or two, and there is no odor at all. After a bit over a week with this pillow, I am beyond happy with it. If you’re looking for a firm, cooling pillow that keeps its shape and provides great support for your head, neck, and shoulders, this is the one.

Comfortable pillow, cooling gel leaves a lot to be desired
TLDR: Very comfortable pillow. Not too hard. Has a good amount of give without being squishy. Doesn’t stay cool.Longer version:Years ago I bought a cooling gel pillow. The gel was great and stayed cool all night. It finally gave out and needed to be replaced. I have been trying many, many kinds of pillows. This pillow has been pretty good.I vastly prefer a contoured pillow, but they are simply not made out of the same materials as they used to be. Almost all of them are very hard and uncomfortable. This pillow is very similar in feel to my former contour pillow. In comfort and soft/firmness this pillow is very good. It’s the right combination to keep me comfortable.In cooling, this pillow is disappointing. It simply doesn’t stay cool at all. The gel doesn’t dissipate heat after the first few minutes. I have tried it with standard cotton pillow cases, ice silk cases, satin cases and a gel-infused case. Right now the combination of the gel-infused case with this cooling pillow generally keeps me from waking up sweat soaked, but it still doesn’t stay cool in the way I would like it to, unfortunately.

Perfect little cloud
I bought this pillow for the cooling pad. I’m sure that it makes a difference and is probably really nice for other people who run hot at night but I’m taking medications that cause insane night sweats. I don’t think any cooling pillow or breathable bedding can help that.I am amazed at the memory foam however. Comfy pillows are hard to find! I just tried my first memory foam pillow a year ago from Walmart and it was way too hard and gave me a headache. But this is perfect!The only things I don’t like:1: it does smell pretty strong. Night 1 I sprayed my husbands cologne on it (yum!) but last night it wore off and was gross but not enough to make me get up and grab more spray. I’m sure the smell will go away soon.2: I’m a side sleeper. I normally sleep with 2 pillows but this is perfect fluff that I only need one. But I notice my arms painfully falling asleep really quickly bc im putting too much pressure on my shoulder. This doesn’t say it’s for a side sleeper so totally not knocking off a star for that. I’ll try adding an extra pillow underneath tonight.Despite my 2 cons and the fact that the cooling part doesn’t cool ME (bc my issues are internal, not external factors like a warm pillow) I absolutely give this 5 stars bc of the memory foam! And for the price! I didn’t expect much for this price but I’d pay twice as much if I had known how great it would be!

Perfect
I have purchased this pillow twice. Why? Because my daughter borrowed it and she refuses to give it back. When she goes out of town, she takes it with her. Partly because she can’t live without it and mostly, I suspect, so I won’t steal it back from her…which I would…in a heartbeat. Stealing for my own daughter? That’s just how amazing this pillow is. I’ve tried tons of pillows including serta, purple, casper, etc. and there is always something not quite right—too thick, too thin, not cool enough, looses its form during the night, ad infinitum. This however, seems to sense exactly how to hold my head based on my sleeping position, stays cool on the cool side, and doesn’t get all mushy by morning. I don’t quite know how it does it but it does. Anyway, just buy it. After a year of trying to wrest my pillow out of my daughter’s greedy little hands, I went ahead and just bought another one. It’s just as good. I’d say it’s better…just to annoy my daughter. Anyway, totally worth it.

Buena relación calidad/precio, se percibe buena manufactura como la calidad de los materiales, llego en tiempo y forma.Si se percibe un ligero olor a plástico (como de producto nuevo), pero con una funda pasa a ser in-perceptibles, llevo ya unas semanas usándola y el olor ha disminuido (sin funda), es de excelente tamaño, no la considero una almohada alta, si se calienta pero al voltearla se enfría en poco tiempo, para volverla a usar del lado con gel, la uso para dormir y como soporte en la espalda cuando me encuentro sentado ( en una silla dentro de mi dormitorio) y da una excelente sensación de comodidad.

The cooling gel only works in a cool/cold environment otherwise it makes the situation worse.I don’t really see the point of being cool when your cold so it’s not for me.It’s a very heavy pillow which squishes flat, personally I prefer less give in a pillow and more support.Might be good for those with anxiety

Great pillow for anyone who loves cool feel to the face. I know my husband would not like it as he is one who loves warmth at night and to be well covered. For me, I love that I can turn my head and find a cool/cold spot immediately without having to turn the pillow over. Have not used on reverse side so can’t comment. It is not very high so when I first saw it I thought it would not work for me (who is used to a thick, high pillow), but it works.
