    Excellent coffeemaker!!
I’ve had this coffeemaker since April 2024 and never had issues with it until a few weeks ago when the drip from the carafe got extremely slow and half the water would remain without brewing. The problem is I never changed the filter, I never descaled it either. I cleaned it entirely today, used the descaling once and then 4 cups of vinegar. After several cycles, it’s back to normal. I recommend you descale it every 3-4 months and replace the filter every 2-3 months. I believe I bought me a darn good machine. Oh, and the pod side (single serve) works great as well!

    Do not buy!
We enjoy the craft side of this coffee machine. We have had major issues with the pod side. Each time we use it, since the first time, it overflows and grounds get all in the cup of coffee and also all in and around the machine. It is a pain to clean the grounds out of the machine because no parts come out to clean, you just have to wipe inside and around until all the grounds are gone, this is very time consuming. Also when I contacted Cuisinart customer service I do not think their return policy is fair. They want me to cut the cord to the machine, take a picture of this, send back the machine and then wait 2 weeks for the replacement, therefore we would be without a coffee pot for two weeks because they sell a faulty product? If I have to go out and get a new coffee pot I’m going to buy a new one and not waste 200$ on one that doesn’t work well. I asked if they could charge me for the new one, ship it and then refund me when they get my broken one back, so we can use the craft side in the mean time, so we don’t have to be without one. They told me no, and I will have to go without and wait for the replacement. Seems strange, I asked why they operate this way and they responded, “we have alot of fraud and don’t trust customers to return the products”. Well welcome to the world, everyone deals with fraud, unfortunately part of owning a company is making the customer happy and standing behind your product. Very disappointed in this company and the product quality. Do not buy this machine!

    Great quality product!
Used the same model last week in a VRBO. We liked it so much that I ordered one right away. Easy to use and maintain. So handy to be able to make an entire pot or a single pod of coffee. We currently have a Cuisinart single cup brewer and have been very happy with the quality and reliability. I look forward to the same with this more versatile brewer.

    Dead on arrival BUT….
The carafe part works the Kcup part does not. It’s Saturday and it will be returned.EditI ended up calling Cuisinart tech support on a Saturday morning, and lo and behold they answered. Well when I describe the problem the customer service rep knew exactly what the issue was. Evidently in the pod section there is a little button that you have to cycle about three or four times. You do that after you open and close the lid about six times. So order events is open and close the lid to the K-Cup area about six times. If that doesn’t fix it there’s the little button underneath the lid of the K-Cup area that you press in about 3 to 4 times. I will no longer be returning this it seems like it is functioning appropriately. The CSR Tech did say that if the pods weren’t used for a while that you may have to do that it builds up pressure in the line. Hope that this helps other people not get as frustrated as me.

    Updated 03/25
I purchased this particular brand as I have owned a half dozen different Keurig coffee makers prior. However, every Keurig has failed usually within a year. The Cuisinart is nice and works well so far. But two areas in the design could use some minor improvement. First, the water tank is really not big enough. After 3 cups of 12 ounce coffees it needs refilling…it would nice if it was bigger. Secondly, there is an internal hinged lift inside the water tank that if you fill it to the top water leaks out where the hinge is attached through the sides of the water tank. Both are very minor annoyances. Otherwise it works just fine…so far. I now keep a spare coffee maker on hand when I have to wait for a warranty replacement. I hope I never have to use it with the Cuisinart.Well, my luck didn’t pan out as of March 2025. Within the last few weeks the pod only dispenses 8 ounces of coffee on the 12-ounce setting and within the last few days it sometimes gives an E07 error. I have thoroughly cleaned it with vinegar as instructed. The cleaning cycle gives 16-ounces of liquid so it is not a pump problem. So, this one has lasted only 7 months. It has become obvious to me that neither Keurig or Cuisinart can manufacture a quality product.

    Burnt up,
I’ve had it 2 years. Received it February 17 2024, and today as I was cleaning it when it began smoking, and smelling burnt plastic.. I unplugged it and it continued smoking and smoldering. I quickly took it outside, guess it’s done!

    Easy to use!!
Love this carafe/pod coffee maker!! Looks nice and easy to use!! Makes good coffee and brews fast!!👍🏻

  9. Copper Top

We had a Cusinart coffee maker for about 20 years, used it daily and it lasted that long. Last month, the water tank started leaking, so we had to get a new one. We had a Keurig but it was kinda crowded on the coffee cart, so I sold it and bought this one. So happy with my purchase! It’s easy to use, the single serve has more oz options than the old one and the coffee maker has a bold feature too. I got it for a really good price too! I hope it lasts as long as the last one!

I bought the previous model of this coffee maker in 2021 and it is still brewing without any problem except the “clean” button won’t turn off despite my triple cleaning-which I can live with. I purchased this new model and started using it in May 2025 for my condo which began to leak within a month of use. Research tells me this is a common issue to which Cuisinart instructs to use a q-tip to clean one of the parts…nope, doesn’t work. Well it leaked so bad it blew out the mechanics at the bottom. Opening up the bottom showed wet parts and rust. Very disappointed and would not recommend.Have sent customer service an email as the machine is under warranty, that was a month ago…no response despite a follow up email. Cuisinart?

Absolutely love this coffee maker. Ideal for making a pot of coffee or if you just want one cup.

I had this machine only a few days now and it works great. However I don’t know how it will work in a year from now.

  13. No Name

I love everything about it. the looks, how it brews, everything. i read the reviews of this product and since it a fairly new product / the k pod system, i saw reviews about it not working. i gave it a shot and now i love it. it works just fine even after using both systems multiple times. no failures (yet). i like how it has a lower-able tray for smaller cups. it brews hot as heck tho. be careful! one thing i do wish this coffee maker had was a bold function for k pod side. i also like how it has 2 separate tanks for each side of the machine. i had to take a star off tho because the part that holds the filter doesn’t hold it firm enough. it lets water seep underneath. that’s the only flaw i have so far. no leaks or anything so i am happy with the it!
