Great product, but the knuckle gets loose and wobbly with time.
I love these stands. My iPad lives in it. Lightweight and versatile. Over time the knuckle at the iPad gets a bit loose, I assume it will break at some point. Make sure the iPad is in a good case!

It was great when it worked. Then the ball joint popped off.
I had this tripod for 11 months now but I only used it 4-5 times. It was great while it worked. But last week, while I was trying to put the iPad in the holder, the holder just came off… the ball joint had failed. Since the metal broke in half, there really isn’t a way to patch this up either. I’m hoping the company has spare parts that I can receive to replace it since all other part of this unit is working okay. I hate throwing something out because one tiny part (crucial one though for this case) broke.Few notes while it worked:1. Opening and closing the legs can be tricky since the metal bracing it are really weak. It’s easy to bend.2. iPad holder works well. Worked with iPad Pro 11 without a problem – with or without a case.3. You can’t adjust the ball joint to point downward at all. Lowest you can get is to get the iPad to face perpendicular to the ground. It would have been nice to have option of pointing it even slightly downward. Having a plastic stop the ball joint right at 90 degree means the metal ball join is resting on the plastic, which might’ve induced this failure.Update 6/11.I have to give them 2 more stars just for their customer service. I contacted them and they sent me a replacement within 3 days. Supposedly this ball joint failing isn’t common. New one works perfectly.

This product is definitely worth your money! It’s definitely sturdy and allows you to position your iPad or tablet stationary but also strong enough to allow you to use it as a stand that can be moved around while taping. Would definitely suggest buying this.

Great item, but replaced twice already due to faulty IPad holder
I love these stands and would give a higher rating if you could address these issues . 1) make stand at least 6 inches taller, 2)give it more weight or provide sand bag to keep it from tilting over, and 3) fix the problem with the IPAD HOLDER. The tension loosens on its own or wears quickly so the Ipad cannot be held upright. This is my 4th replacement in 8-10 months.

Won’t support iPad after a few months.
Has this less than 6 months, and just left it in my practice room and it already doesn’t work. The stand wears out VERY quickly and now there’s no way to tighten it so it just loosely hangs and doesn’t support my iPad. Very disappointing.

Sturdy and easy to use, just a tiny bit bulky!
I bought this to replace my regular music stand in my string quartet since I have mostly switched from sheet music to tablet. It’s sturdy and trustworthy. The grip on the tablet is strong and the stand itself is substantial enough that I don’t worry at all about the iPad falling or slipping. Since I travel a lot this is a bit on the bulky side, but it’s easy enough to take the whole thing apart and make it compact enough for any suitcase. The clips around the tablet could look a bit more elegant on the stage, but overall I’m extremely happy with this for the price and it does the job well!

Update 08.03.2025:Nachdem ich die Halterung 5 Monate genutzt habe, ist die Verbindung zwischen Tablethalter und dem Ständer ausgeleiert.Der Metallstift zwischen Tablethalter und Ständer hat offenbar das evt. zu weiche Plastik gedehnt, wodurch die Halterung sehr wackelt und das Tablet nur mühsam gerade zu stellen ist.Aus diesem Grund reduziere ich meine ursprünglichen 5 Sterne auf nur noch 1, da der Ständer nun ein Fall für die Mülltonne ist.Alternative:Der Tabletständer von K&M “19793”. Ist zwar doppelt so teuer, aber macht einen deutlich qualitativ besseren Eindruck.Ursprüngliche Bewertung:Ich verwende das Stativ für mein 14″ Tablet. Das Tablet wird über die Federmechanik diagonal an zwei Ecken festgehalten. Das Tablet sitzt fest und kann aufgrund der Gummierung nicht rausrutschen. Der Ständer ist sehr stabil. Wenn man mal leicht dagegen stoßen sollte, schwankt es etwas, aber es fällt nicht um.Den einzigen kleinen Nachteil – für mich aber nicht relevant – sehe ich bei der kleinen Transporttasche. Um alle Teile dort rein zu bekommen, muss man alles in Einzelteile zerlegen. Aber auch egal wie rum oder in welcher Reihenfolge man die Einzelteile dort rein packt, es dauert entweder sehr viele Versuche oder die Tasche geht nicht zu.

Utilisé 4/5 fois pour de l’orchestre avec un iPad Pro 13″. J’avais un peu peur que celui-ci soit trop lourd pour ce stand mais mes craintes se sont évaporées dès la première utilisation.Le support ne bouge pas, faut tout de même faire attention aux autres instrumentistes qui passent sans faire attention à côté.J’aurais aimer avoir une attache de tête amovible comme sur certaines autres marques mais bon on ne peut pas tout avoir.La pochette livrée avec n’est pas super pratique et ne sert pas à grand chose. Ça rentre dans un sac à dos donc on va oublier ce mauvais point.
