    Handy dandy EKG anywhere, anytime.
Simple to set up and use – it needs an app you download from Google Play. Clever little gadget, it takes an EKG and has enough diagnostics built into it to let you know if you’re experiencing Afib or not. If you’re concerned about unnoticed Afib, this is a great help for your peace of mind.

    Easy to use
Works excellent! Keeps you informed of your health and we use either link from Dr so they can view the results . It’s a must for cardiac patients!

    In a word, “Fabulous!”
I recently received my KardiaMobile Wallet-Sized EKG Device. First of all, I am amazed and so thankful at what the latest advances in technology have bestowed upon us. This little credit card size EKG machine is a literal life saver for me.Let me also say that I am not a technically oriented person, so I was a little intimidated at first. However, right out of the box the KardiaMobile was extremely quick and easy to set up. The cell phone app, and the registration process were also easy to do. Initially, I also had a question or two, so I called the customer support phone number that was located right in their little instruction booklet. I must say that the customer representative I spoke with was very receptive, patient and helpful. This entire simple set up process made me feel a lot more secure and at ease about using the product. The KardiaMobile is valuable to me for many reasons. One of which is that I had been diagnosed with “AFib” (Atrial Fibrillation). After my initial diagnosis a few years ago, my AFib occurrences were less frequent and thankfully they resolved themselves within a few hours. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case, and thus my AFib episodes have become more concerning. These AFib episodes I have are now more frequent and last much longer than they have in my early stage of diagnosis. Unfortunately, I have other health issues that can otherwise confuse these AFib episodes.I am so thankful that this technologically advanced KardiaMobile is able to confirm my AFib and verify when I am back in sinus rhythm. I am so happy that I can just carry it in my wallet making it available to me everywhere. It also uses Bluetooth technology so I don’t have to concern myself with any lack of wifi or bad cellular reception areas. Appreciatively, with regular use of this amazing tool I can see if there is a particular pattern to these episodes so that I can note any triggers that I may be able to avoid in the future. I now have a record of these events that can give my cardiologist a more accurate picture of what has been occurring, both in frequency & duration. Needless to say, the KardiaMobile is a valuable tool for me and has totally met my expectations and beyond!

A product and app geared to force consumer to join the KardiaCare subscription service
The reviews you read here about being forced to join the KardiaCare subscription plan are pretty accurate. No where in the sales pitch on the product page does it mention this requirement. Once you unbox and open the tiny folded manual, it states at the end that “this device only functions with KardiaCare”. I was thinking that I saw where KardiaCare had a free and a paid version. So I downloaded the app, thinking I would just select the free plan and be go to go. No. Once you start the app, the entire process is devoted to getting you to either sign up for the monthly subscription for $9.95 or the yearly at $99. There are no options to select the free plan. I kept clicking the X in the top right of each dialog that wanted my credit card. The app finally logged me out and I logged back in and after clicking another X to close yet another dialog, it allowed me to the screen to set up the device. I attempted to turn on the device and it would not turn on. I was about to box it up and take it to the post office to return when I placed the card on a hard surface and pressed as hard as I could and I felt the click under my finger and it turned on. While I was reading the screen, the device turned off after the 10 second no-activity kicked in. I turned it back on, and managed to follow the screen to a successful ekg for my wife. I would not recommend this product to anyone that isn’t willing to join an additional subscription. I honestly feel like I was the victim of a bate and switch scheme. I am very tech savvy and it was very difficult to wiggle my way to the free version of the app. I have attached a screenshot of the screen that appears directly after the ekg results were displayed. See how they are no options other than X. I’m sure I will be harassed by these dialogs which is why I will most likely return this device. Consumers shouldn’t be treated like this. What if this happened on every device we bought?

Good product but must subscribe for more features.
My cardiologist recommended this to me after a significant heart attack (99% blockage of RCA and placement of a stent) and I was diagnosed with A-Fib. The price is actually pretty amazing for the technology. At the time, mine was on a sale — $90 instead of $100. It is easy to use and understand the app for it, IMO.My complaint is if you want to be able to see if you have other arrhythmias, you have to upgrade the service in the app and pay more every month for that. So if you want a more complete EKG (options for other types of arrhythmia) you have to pay. I am a senior on a fixed low (truly!) income and I’m not going to pay that. Frankly, there’s so many darn many subscriptions today that SEEM affordable yet if you subscribe to a few, they nickel and dime you to death. I suspect it is these subscriptions where Kardia Mobile makes a lot of their money.

Card does not work. Very disappointed that this was disclosed

  7. Fabienne colen

  8. JudyC

Very easy to use, so small it fits in my wallet. Saved records enable me to discuss with doctor. Excellent.

This device although sold by Amazon AU, is not supported in Australia or New Zealand and according the Kardia in a phone conversation WILL NOT WORK in these countries.Do NOT purchase unless it is for use solely in USA or Canada

  10. John Heffernan

I purchased this device on the advice of my doctor. I installed the app on my phone as per the enclosed instructions only to find the device is not listed, and therefore cannot connect to the app. It appears that the device is no longer supported.
