Great looking and works well. I liked that you can adjust the amount of soap that is dispensed. Easy to refill and the charge lasts a very long time!

So far, so good. Better than Simple Human
LAOPAO is better than Simple Human’s automatic soap dispensers. Simple Human’s soap dispensers work great until they don’t, which is about 2 years in; way too short a time for something that expensive, especially as their shipping is not free everywhere in the country & their shipping price is high. I thought it was an investment in a better made brand, but after trying that brand twice and realizing that the short time before quitting wasn’t a fluke, I chose LAOPAO this time as it comes out to about 1/4 the price of Simple Human, looks nearly identical, & has more features. I figure even if the LAOPAO foaming dispensers quit in that same amount time, I won’t be out nearly that much money.LAOPAO is easy to set up. Charge with the included charging cord until the red light that turns on the top after you plug the cord in, changes to white.Even if you are using a non-foaming clear non-gel liquid soap, it converts easily to foam when you pour 1 part soap, 4 parts water in the clear part of the container which unscrews from the bottom. I didn’t need to shake it; pouring water in it was enough. Their directions give examples of several brands of non-foaming soaps that convert to foam great with this dispenser. I already had one of those brands: Dial liquid.If you already have a foaming soap, just fill the clear container with it.With foaming tablets, put the tablet in the dispenser & then fill with water.So, after it is charged, just put your hand under the spout: near the spout for a smaller amount of foaming soap or move your hand a little further down from the spout for more soap. Small works great for me.Included is a little bottle & tip for flushing out the tubes when needed. There is also an easy automatic cleaning feature to use before refilling the dispenser each time. Simple Human has neither of these.A fun feature of this LAOPAO automatic foaming dispenser is the clear lowest part lights up; mine lights up blue because I used blue liquid soap. The button on top lights up green as you use it and both stay lit up for a few seconds after.A negative reviewer may have been confused about the light on top. It turns on white when first fully charged and then turns off when you unplug the charger. You then press this button for 2 seconds to turn it on-it turns on green- and then the green light turns off, but the dispenser itself still stays on. You do not have to press the button ON again. The green light on top automatically turns on when you put your hand under the spout & then turns off again a few seconds later, but the dispenser, again, is still on, ready for each next time you use it. You don’t need to keep pressing the on button unless you have a defective dispenser. Having lights that stay on would be cool, but that would use up each charge far faster.This dispenser is a little bit louder when in use than the Simple Human ones; not a deal breaker.The charging port’s cover tab to protect it from splashing water, is soft and kind of weak and as the directions say, use care when opening or closing this little cover, so it doesn’t tear off. It would be really good if LAOPAO improved this covering.So anyway, so far, so good. Very good. So much so, that I just bought another one for the kitchen.

Simply Better Than SimpleHuman
I started out buying one of these dispensers to see if they were any good and any better than the overpriced SimpleHuman foaming dispenser. Suffice it to say I now own 4 Laopaos, and I”ll probably never buy another SimpleHuman dispenser again.For years I tried getting SimpleHuman’s Foaming soap dispenser to work. It never worked well, and after a while the battery would just give out in them. And it was double the price of this Laopao soap dispenser.This dispenser is really great and does a nice job making foam. The recharge process is easy and clear, and it comes with accessories and directions for cleaning between uses.The other amazing thing is their support. I recently had a question and got a response and a custom support video posted to YouTube to help me with my issue, which actually ended up resolving itself.

Love it! Worth it!
Everyone comments on this soap dispenser. They love it. You know it’s a hit when the younger generation wants one for themselves. The charge on this is amazing. Bought it in April ’25 and have yet to recharge it(January ’26). It’s used in our powder room so it gets a ton of use with family and friends at large gatherings.

Looks good and works better. Highly recommended.

Excellent soap dispenser. It’s been in use at the kitchen sink for almost 3 months and I have yet to recharge it. The style is sleek and modern and you can see how much soap is left through the glass bottom. There are 2 dispense amount options; closer to the nozzle gives a small amount and a larger amount farther away. Note that there is no charge block included, only a cable.
