This should be standard issue with every Lenovo idea pad flex purchase. I finally got the laptop of my dreams which converts into a tablet. It is 2023 and quite heavy, but I refuse to cave in and buy an iPad that I don’t need. Wow this completely elevates my experience. It’s like having a really nice fancy desktop computer. The stand itself is extremely sturdy and well built, supporting the weight. My brain keeps thinking it’s a monitor on a bezel so of course if you pull it down, the stand is going to move as well. It’s not like it’s attached to the center of the back, it’s literally just sitting on a stand so remember that in your brain because it is very believable that you are using a desktop as soon as you put your idea pad on this stand. it’s made of nice metal with smooth hinges that hold plenty of resistance. I’m glad I spent a little extra money because the reviews for the others looked like they would not support the weight of my 15 inch IdeaPad. However, I found it to only be acceptable horizontally because vertically it just has too much weight and will fall backwards or forwards with one touch. But if you’re using the Bluetooth mouse and keyboard that’s fine, it’s just that I plan to use it for recipes in my kitchen, touching it all the time. But horizontal is sufficient, and the toppling is only because of the heavy weight of my laptop folded into a tablet, not the stand’s problem.In fact, as soon as I saw the little silicone arms, I worried because they looked too thin for my folded laptop. Actually, they fit perfectly onto the base part of the folding laptop, see the picture.This thing is a work of art and very beautiful and should be included with all Lenovo purchases because it elevated the use so much

Sturdy and Useful
I bought this to hold up my 9″ iPad Air while reading kindle books seated at my desk. It feels high quality, with good hinges and the tightness of the hinges makes it easy to position without worrying about drift or sag. It’s got plenty of weight in the base and as a result isn’t likely to tip over.I like the silicone pads in the lip and back of the part that holds the iPad, they do a great job of keeping the iPad from sliding around. It also has a couple small pads on the bottom of that which allows you to fold it down so those touch the desk and provide even more anti slip for the stand.Lastly, the range of adjustment on the hinges provides for a lot of different positions allowing it to be flexible for both landscape and portrait mode, and a great range of heights and angles. It also allows the stand to fold flat for packing in a laptop bag for travel.I’m quite happy with this purchase so far. The only thing I wonder is for how long the hinges will retain their stiffness with continued use, as there does not appear to be any way to adjust the tension. However, the price for this device was very reasonable, so if I get a couple years out of it I will be satisfied.Update: I bought this about 4 years ago and I’m happy to report that my concerns about the hinges losing tension were unfounded. I have used this product nearly every single day, adjusting it frequently as I swap different devices in and out. It’s still completely pristine and looks just like the day I bought it. No corrosion, and no issues mechanically at all. The silicone parts have all stayed bonded and look like new. I wish all products were built this reliably. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Ich habe diesen Ständer für meinen faltbaren Laptop gekauft, der mit 1,7kg doch ehr etwas schwerer ist. Nach 3,5 Jahren hält der Ständer immer noch einwand frei. Zugegebenermaßen habe ich die Gelenke des Ständers nicht oft durch Verstellen der Winkel beansprucht, da dieser in meist gleicher Position als Ablage für den Laptop dient. Bei Toucheingaben steht alles stabil. Die Gummibeschichtungen schützen optimal vor Kratzern am Gerät.
