Great Firestick Replacement
I had my doubts when I was ordering this but man I’m glad I did it now. It works better than the firestick once its set up properly. Almost every app I used on the firestick works perfect. There are a few apps I had on firestick that will not work but there are other apps that make up for the ones that don’t work. you will be glad you bought one of these.

Excellent Budget 4K Streaming Device
The Onn Android TV 4K UHD Streaming Device offers great performance for the price. Setup was fast, and 4K streaming is smooth across major apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. A big plus is that on my Toshiba TV, the Onn remote automatically took over the TV’s main controls, so I only need one remote. Easy to use, reliable, and a great value overall.

High quality device
So far great, I love the remote. I’ve had other boxes that had terrible remotes that are hard to press and the system would take a long time to boot up. This one has none of those problems and seems to stream 4K movies better than my Apple TV. You can download Google play if you want to install your own apps.

Disney app unusable – periodic pausing of video
Updates: Disney app is unwatchable. there is a brief pause in the video every minute or 2, just enough to be so annoying that it’s unusable. I tried factory resetting, loading the minimal apps onto it with no satisfaction. My network is fine as are the hdmi cables I’m using. I tried 4k at 60hz/30hz, and 1080p, it doesn’t matter. Importantly, youtube and Netflix look good so its just the Disney app that seems affected. Also the Disney app looks ok on my $200 Nvidia Shield. So theres that.

Inexpensive quaility streaming box.
It’s an older box but it checks out. Simple enough to connect up. Delivery time was alright (since it came regular mail.) Resolved my buffering issue streaming directly to my ONN TV. No issues.

This has been a great buy thus far. It is replacing my (new) 4K Firestick which wasn’t compatible with CUE Tv streaming. It was easy to setup and has worked fine. The only con is the remote won’t work to control my older Sceptre HDTV. (I have to use the Firestick remote for that) Doesn’t seem to be a way to enter the code manually; so a minor complaint.

A nice surprise for a cheap price
This one is a bit of a surprise to me. I didn’t expect much out of this little TV box. It has no USB ports and no Ethernet port. It is wifi only, which worried me since many Android TV boxes have lousy wifi chipsets in them. This one has a very good chipset. It does 5Ghz wifi just fine, allowing me to get around 500Mb/second internet speed. I do wish it had a USB port so I could use my standard external keyboard, but it does fine on bluetooth keyboards and headsets. The google TV interface is clunky, but that is not the fault of this ONN TV box. This is a nice, very functional Android Google certified TV box, that I would have given 5 stars if it had a USB port.
