Total Dissolved Solids
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is a commonly misunderstood unit of measurement. Water tastes better and pitcher lasts a long time and improves tap water contents. Have used this product for years and only replaced it twice due to the date wearing out from age and usage. I replace the filter every 60 days.

Amazing water!
This is the best water I have ever tasted out of a filter, the only comparison I can make is it tastes like Fiji water which I think is the best tasting bottled water. It does exactly what it says and after 2 months on one cartridge, the water is still at 9.3PH and great tasting! After learning about PH balance in the water we drink, I tested the water out of our Brita and it was 5.3-5.5 to our surprise, we have been drinking that water and tons of it for almost two decades! My 7 year old son also had a taste test with me between Santevia, New York tap water, and Brita and he picked Santevia as well. I highly recommend this product especially for anyone with acid problems, it has done wonders for my wife.As for the retailer VitaminLife, our pitcher also arrived cracked like the previous reviewer, and they asked us to go to contact Santevia instead of helping us out. I do not agree with this given that they poorly packed the box. On the other hand, Santevia was amazing and sent us a new pitcher and had tips on how to prep the filters before first use. I would order directly from them or look up another recommended retailer on Santevia’s site.BTW, I do not work for Santevia and this is my 2nd product review on amazon and I have been a customer since 1998.

Mostly good, but there’s just one bad thing
So I’ve had this product over a year now so I feel that I can give a good but straightforward review. This product is heaven sent. I no longer waste money on buying soo many bottles of filtered water. Every single day I go through at least 8 cups of water and I can drink that without having to fill this up several times.The GoodThe taste is good for months after replacing or adding a new filter.The size is good for a person who has 1-2 people in their house.I don’t have to buy filtered water anymore.The Bad- If you put any water on the top part where it measures how many days you have left, it will go out easily. I have been without this feature for months. I could have just requested another one but I am too lazy to do it.

I’ve had this pitcher for quite awhile now and think it does a great job! Typically, I take filtered water and pour it in there, but that’s mostly because I wasn’t too sure exactly what the pitcher would filter (plus it doesn’t hurt to double filter the water). Anyways, the point is to make water alkaline, and it does exactly that! With a brand new filter, I got it up to 9.6, I believe which is fantastic! When the filter starts to taper down, my lowest was 8.1 and I changed the filter at that point. I wouldn’t base TOO much off the indicator at the top of the pitcher. It just ticks off time vs how much you’re using it. Best bet is to buy an alkaline tester and see how it’s performing. I was able to use the filter past the lid’s “expiration” point.I only wish the thing was bigger.

The pitcher I received looked in perfect shape… but I noticed there was water leaking around the outside of the filter, instead of all of it going through the filter. Called Santevia and they immediately said they would send me a new filter! Pleasant people; great service! I do have to say that, even though the water was not completely filtered it was mostly filtered, was crystal clear and had so much better taste than my regular tap water, I find myself wanting to drink more of it. That’s a good thing. Can’t wait until I get the perfect filter to see how it will taste then! I don’t know how healthy alkaline water is for me, but it certainly tastes great, the pitcher is very well made and I do recommend it if you are looking for an easy, inexpensive way to increase your alkalinity..

The system is works well with Singapore water and produce extremely tasty water. Damn Good.Had other models previously, but this model proves all of them are not closer to this.Santevia has well designed the pitcher so it won’t topple down when pouring water.. great work!!!Overall, good water and good experience!!!Ordered more filter cartridges.. getting today!!! My doctor had recommended an over the counter medicine to counteract GERD, but somehow I heard about a Mr. Anderson who apparently had a similar diagnosis. Mrs. Anderson decided to do something about it, and the result was the Santevia water filter. Thank you, Mrs. Anderson, because I have been using your product for quite a number of years now and never needed any further medication. AND, the water tastes great – no more chlorine smell!

We already have the Santevia counter top water filter system at home and wanted consistently nice tasting water for when we are at our caravan. This pitcher fits the bill beautifully, the water tastes lovely and so do our hot drinks. It is quite heavy when full but at least you are not constantly refilling it! I would strongly recommend this product.

I bought one of these because I needed to replace my Brita and I had wanted to try it out for a few years now. When my Brita pitcher started leaking I thought that’s it I’m going to try the Santevia. Best decision ever! It really does a fast job of filtering the water. In comparison to the Brita the water is much much clearer. It tastes way better. Filters out way more and I will never go back to the Brita again. I’ll stick to this one hands down. Plus alkaline water is so much healthier for you.
