The stainless steel construction feels solid and built to last, and it handles potatoes, onions, and other vegetables with ease. The included replacement blades are sharp and make clean, uniform cuts every time—perfect for fries, dicing, and slicing. It’s easy to set up and clean, and works just as well for home use as it does in a restaurant setting. If you prep a lot of vegetables, this chopper is absolutely worth it.

where it says 3/8″, think 9.5 mm, where it says 1/2″, think 12 mm, and 1/4 is a LOT smaller like maybe 5 mm, BUT perfect for making some hearty nice fresh hash browns, which was actually a big plus, imo. Cutting potatoes was AWESOME.I’ve purchased a number of various Vevor products. It cut fries for 9 mm easy and while being slightly bigger than 1/4″ fries, they were just dandy cooked in the air fryer after a light toss in some veggie oil. I like smaller fries as the fatter ones don’t cook as well in the air fryer. Was a piece of cake to assemble AND it cleaned up super easy. It was packed from the factory really well. This was an awesome investment. Dicing? We won’t bother even trying it as it would be a pain to line up, but I won’t mind finishing that on a cutting board. I love how it was designed and is a well built Kitchen aid, imo.1st time fries, did it on wax paper, next time will put it in a bake pan so can oil the fries or hash browns.We’ll also likely just prep some in advance and freeze them after they’re lightly oiled and salted.This was one of my better ideas to invest in and worth every penny. I did make too many fries the 1st time, so a little veggie oil and into the freezer in a qt baggie for next time. It was definitely still a 5 star investment.

Works great endlessly French fries anytime!!! Several sizes easy to chop. My kids love when i pull out the fry press and get to cooking fresh fries. So much better than store bought.

Sturdy Chopper That Will Not Quit
This chopper is an absolute work-horse. It would easily stand up to daily use for years. No flimsy plastic and it will handle the largest of potatoes with ease. The long handle provides very good leverage to get through the toughest of cuts. You will need a good amount of space to store this item because of its height and footprint so if your space is tight, you might consider an alternative. The two minor issues I have with the unit are most likely unavoidable given the functional design. First, changing the blades involves partial disassembly of the mechanism. The designers did help overcome this with the quick release handle fastener pin. The second is the way that the cutting guides are attached. Thumb screws are used to secure it to a plastic housing. If you happen to have large fingers, you will need some type of pliers to loosen the thumb screws and I am wary of the impact of time and multiple blade changes may have on the plastic housing. So far it has been fine so the concerns may turn out to be unfounded. Overall, if you have the storage space, this is a terrific product and I would purchase it again.

I had to make a large amount of fries for a big group. Was I surprised at how easy and fast this was. It was so much fun I wanted to keep doing more !!!!! 😉🙂. Price is so worth it. It is made really well and very sturdy !! I’m sure I will have this for A LONG TIME !! The first potato I thought it was a little hard, but the second on were so fast and easy. Watch YouTube and it will be a breeze. I had 2 men trying to figure it out without instructions , then I watched YouTube and they had it on wrong 😂😂😂😂. So much for men know everything !! 😂😂. I have used the fries so far. I really want to try the apple one. I want to see what else I can use it for. If any of you come up with any ideas could you please share them with us. Would be so appreciated. I want to get more use out of it. Thank you. I don’t think you can go wrong with this especially if you make fries often Hope this helps ! I scrubbed my potatoes and didn’t peel them, I like the skin . I wonder if this could be used to cut fresh pineapple after you cut off the outside That will probably be one of my things to do ?!?!?!😜.
