I’ve tested a number of Fopato keyboards and they have all been very impressive.This one is about as average in every way possible. Given the lower price point, it doesn’t strive to be something other than its true intention: a quality near-full sized board with all the right features, at a good price point.There has to be some concessions to offer a basically full sized board at this range, but I would say nothing that compromises in the important areas. Let’s review the compromises. It is an all plastic build with generic red switches that are a little scratchy, pingy, and fairly light in touch. What is not advertised is that the switches are hot swappable, though, and that does allow for anyone to swap in their own switches. The vast majority of buyers of this keyboard will never opt to do this, but the fact that this is possible is very reassuring. The LED lighting is not RGB but fixed. For those that care, this is a definite compromise as it limits the possibilities. I really don’t have much preference when it comes to lighting, but this eliminates the possibility for having all switches uniformly lit with the same color, for example. The case is all plastic, and the entire keyboard is quite lightweight. This affects the sound of the keyboard to some extent. I haven’t gotten around to opening the case to see what sort of foam is installed but the keyboard likely has some decent amount of foam as sound is pretty nice, not clacky, but not very thocky either. It’s somewhere in between.Now for the good. The keycaps are quality PBT double shot (non-shine through though) and the OEM profile is going to be very familiar for the majority of users. It has a PC plate that affords some dampening on the bottom outs and although not advertised, there is a whole lot of flex which makes me believe this is gasket mounted. The stabs are tuned and lubed PERFECTLY with zero tics on all the stabilized keys. This is a huge win for me, otherwise I have to spend time to redo the lubing and for this one, there’s no need to take that extra step. The layout includes a full sized numpad with a proper width zero key. I hate 98% layouts that have a small zero key as it is near impossible for me to touch type on it and oftentimes when I use the R arrow key, I’ll be hitting that zero key. This layout has a gap between the zero key and the R key, which is very nice as I will never worry about accidentally hitting that zero. The wireless dongle has a proper slot for storage when not in use, a very thoughtful design element.Overall a very good board at a good price, and for those who wish to take an extra step, can be customized with different switches that will eliminate some of those compromises.

Gray keyboard. It feels absolutely amazing
This is a great wired or wireless keyboard. I am not experiencing any lag whatsoever. It’s absolutely beautiful. The keys feel amazing on your fingers and the click you get back is so satisfying. I don’t know why but this makes me want to type more. It comes with different keys so you can arrange it how you’d like but I just love the way it looks out of the box. Also has a key puller to make it easy to change the keys. The instructions are extremely clear on it I had to search for the wireless transmitter since there was nothing that says where it was. If you turn the keyboard over so you can read the wording you lift up the right foot and the wireless transmitter is under there. I cannot tell any noticeable difference between wired Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz. It’s definitely made very well and you can tell that this will last for a very long time if you don’t abuse it. I’ve had it for a few days and it seems that it should last quite a long time on a charge. I don’t think I could have made a better choice for a wireless keyboard in this price range
