easy to get it going
I’m in the SW desert, 4th worse air in the US in this hot dustbowl pollinating valley of sun. Easy to unpack and get going. I left it on Auto, as set when turned on first time. There’s a whole lot of buttons and options, one of which is to turn off the panel lights, great feature. It’s super quiet on auto, if you crank up the fan it’s of course more loudly whooshing 😉 so maybe do that when you are out. The auto feature shows a green light, and I don’t hear anything, but now and then, not often, maybe 2 or 3 times a day a red light comes on and it increases the fan noise for a couple or few minutes while filtration goes into louder sounds. I’m not sure what triggers that, it’s possibly using cleaners like dish soap, or cooking. I got 2 units so I could have both sides of the house covered, I’ve got terrible allergies. After running them both for 2 days I can already tell the difference. .. much better! Day 3 I didn’t need any allergy medicine or asthma inhaler, with my self proscribed combination of running a whole home humidifier (not the mist kind, I got the 5 gallon Aircare console which doesn’t leave residue) plus these Azeus air filtrations offered at super reasonable price. Filters aren’t too pricey either, given they last a while. Ah, sweet air!

Fantastic little air purifier
I am impressed with this small air purifier – it sits there quietly, minding its own business, until the quality of the air changes (I have mine set on auto), when it kicks into high gear. Once I found the button to turn off the display lights, it became even less intrusive. When the VOCs are absent, it is whisper quiet.This little guy has lots of features, which are easy to set – you can ionize the air and/or turn on a UV light internally to kill bacteria. Our house AC already uses a UV light, so I have not enabled it on this air purifier, but I would do so if I were using this in a different location. Ionized air does not work well for me, so I have not tested it. The instruction manual does not elaborate on this feature, but ionization processes CAN produce ozone, and I could not find any information about the process used on this device. There is a light that changes from green to red if the VOCs are high – this function definitely works, as I can attest each time I use hairspray in my bathroom, this air purifier registers the increased VOCs in the bedroom.For those of you who like to manually control matters, the Azeus purifier does not disappoint – you can pick the fan speed, choose from a variety of programs that automatically change the speed every 8 hours, and also set timers.The filter boasts all the features one would expect nowadays – true HEPA and activated carbon. As an aside, the product page mentions a VOC absorber (which I thought was a function of the carbon filter anyway) and formaldehyde absorber. The diagram looks incorrect, as the black honey-comb filter is the activated carbon one, and it is located towards the inside of the machine; the prefilter is normally white and it is located towards the outside as the first barrier against the incoming air. Quiet operation, easy setup
This air purifier is incredibly quiet when running! Setup is simple, just take the plastic off the HEPA filter, and plug in the AC power adapter. The AC power adapter uses a standard USB-C plug. The HEPA filter is black mesh on one side and white folded filter on the other, but if you gently shake it, you can hear filter beads moving inside of it, which I expect is the activated carbon filter. I really like the small handle that is formed into the back of the enclosure which allows you to pick up the lightweight unit with only one hand. I also really like the overview instructions that are printed on the back of the enclosure (since I won’t always have the instruction booklet nearby). There was a small piece of plastic inside the unit that seemed to be leftover from manufacturing (shown in photo). It was bouncing around the fan and making noise. I was able to shake the unit upside down and grab it through the vent, so it was an easy adjustment. The instructions state that the filter should be replaced every 6 to 8 months, and the filter type is available (and appears to be a standard type).

We’re extremely impressed by this HEPA filtered air purifier. It was easy to setup, by just removing the HEPA filter’s plastic and slotting it back into the device, closing it up and plugging it in using the provided plug, which goes into the USB-C port under the device.The air coming out the top is quite fresh and feels good on the skin. This purifier does a kind of ying-yang effect; it draws air from the bottom in its large filter, and shoots air in an arc out of the top towards the ceiling. I believe it is helping to actually circulate the air in the room, unlike some devices I’ve used by Germ Guardian, that just sent the filtered air backwards towards the intake due to poor aerodynamic design.The top of the device can be hard to read without plugging it in, the silver text isn’t too easy to read which is annoying. Thankfully, once plugged in I can read the settings fine; like that it can switch between 6 different fan speeds, which get progressively louder, though I found speed 1, 2 and 4 to be comfortable. Speed 3 has a weird rattling noise, and 5 and 6 can be very loud, probably only useful when you’re out of the room.It has an automatic mode to switch to faster speeds when detecting more particulate in the air, which is shown by the Blue/ Green/ Red LED for air Quality. I don’t bother since I don’t want it to randomly go into turbo speed while I’m asleep since I use it in my bedroom. I also turned on the Ionization and UV light to help remove particulates, microbes, and odors from the air. It even has a handle on the side to make it easy to lift up and vacuum underneath it.One other issues I found, though I’m not 100% sure if it is an issue or just the environment, is that the air quality sensor light hasn’t changed from green to blue for clear. I’m not sure if that’s a sign that the room is still very dusty, even after vacuuming and cleaning and a few days of usage, or if the device can’t handle the bedroom which isn’t that large. I’m just not sure about that.I’m very impressed by this product at least, and like the smell of the air that comes out of it, and would definitely recommend it.

This is my 2nd HEPA Air Purifier in my home, after getting the first one I wanted another one for bedroom as it gets VERY dusty so hoping to clear the air a bit. This air filter has a sleek design to it, kind of a oval shape and it’s on the smaller side so it fits nicely in any room out of the way, the front portion of it is where the HEPA filter is located – the front actually comes off to reveal the filter which pops out really nicely to replace it.On top of the Air purifier are the buttons to operate it, on/off button, Speed and timer button, Function and then the air filter reset buttons, all very easy to operate. Most of the time I just leave the purifiers on auto as it adjusts the fan speed to the quality of your air – it is super quiet on the very low auto speed, you almost can’t hear a thing.one thing to consider when purchasing this air purifier is where you are going to put it, we had intended it to go into our bedroom but because the control panel lights up – it is way to bright in the room – we tried hiding the panel but that didn’t work either and you can’t cover it up because it needs to take in the air so something to consider.Another thing to consider when purchasing air purifiers and I think this holds true for most is that the air filters are NOT washable/reusable – you do have to buy a new filter when the air filter reset button comes on – this is something I wasn’t aware of and isn’t really advertised a lot so an important thing to note as some of the air filters can get very expensive – the replacement filters for this one are around $30 which isn’t bad at all, sucks that you have to replace them, I would love to see them be reusable/washable, but other than that it’s a great air purifier to clean you’re homes air.

I never realized how well these things work until I tested them.I was happy with the very sleek design of this air purifier. It wasn’t bulky, over the top eye sore. It was just a sleek machine that I could place on the ledge of the window to clean the air in my room and the air coming in my room.It was great seeing the purifier tell you your air quality, and you would see it dropping down to better quality the longer it ran.For noise level it actually wasn’t that bad, the only time it got loud or to a very noticeable noise level is if the air quality got really bad and it had to crank up to clear it out.When test this I did get some dust to blow over the purifier and that’s when I seen it kick into overdrive and get loud to clean up the fresh dust.Other then that it was quite as my rooms quality wasn’t all that terrible.Personally I can recommend it, I’ve been noticing my throat not as bad feeling when waking up, and I do enjoy that it was easy to test to see if it actually worked.

This smart, true HEPA air purifier from Azeus has a lot of great functions it is said to be high-efficiency, save energy, and most of all for these type of things, “low noise”The actual machine itself is a small to medium size and does not take up a lot of space. It’s made primarily of a white plastic and comes with a really good filter(Which you would have to replace when needed) And even has a UV light.Operating this machine is pretty straightforward, but it comes with extra information and a guide for all of the buttons and what functions they have are conveniently placed right on back of the purifier On a clear & easy to read sticker For quick reference. (See photo)The filter is top notch! As someone who is very familiar with a variety of different types of filters, I can confidently say that the filter that comes with this is of a very good quality. You can tell this by looking at the carbon portion of the filter. It has a honeycomb design and you can shake it and see the little carbons inside moving around. Every time you see this type of carbon filter, you know it is a quality product, that most definitely will work.The Unit is very lightweight and you’ll have no problem picking it up and moving it to a different part of your house ,it is not heavy.Each of the individual buttons work just by a simple touch. They work really well. In the video I had provided you can also see that they light up, however, do not worry. There is a button to turn the lights off as well.The thing that I really did not like about this air purifier is the noise. I have provided a video for you to see and hear what I am talking about. I know that Things can sound differently when you are recording with a phone, but I still think you can Here what I am describing in the video. There is the basic noise that comes from the air flowing through the machine, that is one thing. However, in this device, you can definitely hear the little fan inside running if you watch and listen carefully to the video I provided you will hear it as well. To me, it sounds like the little propeller on the internal fan that maybe is of a cheap quality it sounds like it is brushing up against something, or it is not the right size fan for this size device. You can really hear what I’m talking about when the video gets to 0.49 as you can totally hear the sound difference.This is a very annoying sound, and you can hear it both when you are close to machine and also when you are at a distance from it . It is just “that “type of sound that you cannot Help but notice., it was enough to make me drop this review down to just three stars.If you are the type of person that does not mind that type of small sound then yes I would recommend this air purifier because it has a lot of features that are really good plus it comes with a fantastic filter however, if you are someone who is bothered by continuous sounds like that, then I would not recommend this air purifier

So far, I’ve found this air filter to be pretty good taking into account its price point. I have a much more expensive big name filter that handles our great room really well, so I wanted something that could handle some of the smaller living spaces, like our bedroom which is at the opposite end of the house.Lamentably the super bright lights on this thing mean it can’t go in a bedroom. My other filter has a night mode where the lights turn off, and you can even program it to not go above a certain setting or just stay off. Not the case here, so this has been banished to our basement. It does a good job, and the auto mode seems pretty good at correctly detecting extra particulates. Unfortunately there’s only one non-washable filter so you’re forever buying new filters. My higher end one has dual filters, one you vacuum that takes care of things like cat hair, etc, that you don’t have to replace, and then the interior one that handles fine particulate. I’d love to see that sort of application on this filter, since if you have animals you’re forced to replace the filters more often. Because of this I wouldn’t recommend this filter for anyone with pets.
