Stomach Sleeper Review: DROWSY Silk Sleep Mask versus MZOO Luxury Sleep Eye Mask
I absolutely love this product, and the price was totally worth it for me! Before this, I used a basic silk sleep mask with an elastic band, which I bought a few times from Amazon. When they stopped making it, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I was torn between the DROWSY Silk Sleep Mask and the MZOO Luxury Sleep Eye Mask, both of which have strong ratings. I tried both, in case anyone else is curious about the two. For context, I’m a stomach sleeper. The MZOO mask intrigued me because of the padding, but I found it really uncomfortable—the eye cutouts irritated me, and felt too large. The padded cushion also pressed into my face in a way I didn’t enjoy. The DROWSY mask, on the other hand, is amazing. The silk padding feels so lovely, and I find the way it hugs my head super comforting. My hair also looks really good after wearing it. It definitely does the job blocking out the light and it’s comfy in all positions. I also haven’t had issues with it coming off in the night. Definitely the luxury upgrade I was looking for!

My daughter came to visit me; noticed my ‘Drowsey Silk Sleep Mask’. She put it on, LOVED it, and let me know that I just gifted her THE BEST ‘Drowsey Silk Sleep Mask’. It is very comfortable and the size of it, from top to bottom, blocks out all light 100%. I’ve tried enough sleep masks to know, without a doubt, ‘Drowsey Silk Sleep Mask’ is LUXURY. It’s a product that five+ (5+) star Hotels would (and should) purchase, have on hand, for clients that 1) forgot to pack theirs 2) worked through the night and not only needs the black out curtains but the ‘Drowsey Silk Sleep Mask’.

Perfect for people with ptosis revision
I was born with ptosis and had several surgeries to correct it. Unfortunately, the surgeries cause your eyelid to not be able to close fully when you sleep. This leads to very dry, red, painful eyes in the morning. For years I used inexpensive sleep masks to help force my eyelid to close but it only worked some of the time. I did a lot of research and settled on trying the Drowsy sleep mask but was hesitant because of the price. Since I have been using it I have not woken up with a painfully dry eye. The mask is large and does slip off occasionally but it is perfectly cushioned to help keep my eyelid shut while not applying too much pressure on the eyeball. The Velcro is heavy duty and so far has not stretched out at all. This mask is expensive but worth the price for anyone with similar needs. Plus the colors and silk are just gorgeous. I love it so much I bought it in three colors.

This sleep mask is wonderful! It hugs my face and it’s very comfortable. It’s wider which really shields the light. It fits nicely over the nose bridge with a cut out design. I love it and I do intend to buy another and I’m going to give these to “my girls” as a spring gift.

Good, but not $78 good!
After seeing a TikTok review raving about how this mask changed their sleep forever, I got curious and decided to give it a shot.Pros:• The material is high-quality and feels premium.• Blocks out light pretty well and even helps reduce noise.• Great for ear protection. I have psoriasis, and this was much more comfortable than masks with thin straps that irritate my ears.Cons:• Holds heat, so it can be uncomfortable on warmer nights.• The Velcro is insanely loud, definitely something to consider if you sleep with a partner.• Light blocking depends on fit. Since my face is on the smaller side, I have to pull it down almost close to my lips to get total darkness. This can be uncomfortable to wear.• Finding the right tightness is tricky. Too tight, and I see blurry spots or “stars” for a bit due to the pressure.• The price is just ridiculous. $78 is way too steep for what it is.Overall, it’s well-made and has some great features, but for this price? Hard to justify.

Seriously the dreamiest sleep mask. I have tried a couple… Mavogel, VivaRays. Neither of those offered full blackout or felt as comfortable. This really feels like a cloud on the face. I struggled to find the optimal fit at first, but I played around with it and now it’s perfect. If the strap is uncomfortable against the pillow, try wearing it looser by loosening the velcro strap.
