Does this pillow have an odor?
Compression packed pillows may have a slight odor when first opened, which is normal for new memory foam. If you are sensitive to the odor, gently squeeze it for a few times and then put it in a ventilated place to dry, the odor will disappear soon.

Why do some people mention that the cooling effect doesn’t last long?
Body temperature and room temperature can affect the duration of the cooling sensation. If you are naturally hot, it can affect your experience. We usually recommend using an air conditioner or fan along with the pillow for better cooling.
My pillow is flat and won’t expand after opening. What should I do?
This is normal for compressed pillows! Let it rest in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours. Gently pat to speed up (don’t over-squeeze) — it’ll regain full shape and height soon.
Can I use the pillow before it fully expands?
We don’t recommend it. A partially expanded pillow won’t offer proper neck/head support, causing discomfort. Your body weight may also hinder full expansion, reducing its intended performance.

So cool to the touch
I got the cooling gel memory pillow because my neck has been picky lately, and I needed something that actually supports me on my side. The first thing I noticed was the cover, I was suprised how cool this is to touch. It feels like flipping the pillow to the “cold side,” but it stays that way longer than my old pillows ever did. The foam has a nice give, and it cradles the neck instead of pushing my head forward. After a few nights I woke up without that stiff spot at the base of my neck, which is honestly why I kept it. I also got an email from the seller with simple steps on how to prepare the pillow before fist use, which I appreciated because it made the setup easy. I like that you can use the reversible sides depending on the season, because the cooling side is almost too refreshing when the room is already chilly. The height feels just right for me as a side sleeper, and it keeps my shoulders from doing that weird hunch. It also bounces back well in the morning and does not turn into a sad flat pancake. There was a slight new-foam smell when I opened it, not terrible, but I let it air out for a day and it was fine. Surprisingly Amazing for Under $50!
I’ve tried pillows from $100-$300+ just to find one that’s comfortable for my neck. Tempur Pedic, BedGear, you name it and I’ve probably tried it…cue my surprise when this pillow, which I got for under $50, supported my neck the best of them all and didn’t cause me to wake up with neck pain. It’s a medium loft, but the loft is compressible vs being super firm, so it truly does cradle your head and neck. I would say it’s excellent value for money, as long as you’re able to accept that foam just *does not* cool. The only downside I’ve noticed is that, while it’s cool to the touch initially, it doesn’t stay cool throughout the night leading me to have to flip it when I inevitably overheat.

Purchased this pillow as a present for a friend, and he loves it. The cool area really feels cool to touch. As per my friend, the pillow is firm and comfortable. Includes a pillow case with a zipper. The case is thin and allows you to feel the coolness of the pillow. If a different pillow case is placed on top, the cool area is not very noticeable.
