beautiful and nice, be careful about the handle
beautiful and nicethe craftsmanship for this kettle is quite nice, and it brings quite a bit fashion to the kitchen. it is certainly not the cheapest out there (at least at the time of my purchase), but it certainly brings good value for the money if you want some design elements without paying outrageous amount of money (think SMEG).functionally speaking, it works like any other electrical kettle, it does have a water temperature gauge but i find that’s more for the aesthetic than function. no one in their mind would use that preciously control the water temperature for brewing tea or coffee.now i have seen all the negative reviews before i buy one, and most complain the cooking time and the noise it makes. I have other two kettles to compare to, including a breville ones. it is true that this boils water slightly slower due to 1500W vs 1800W, and makes noise slightly longer during rumbling phase (when the kettle makes most noise as the steam bubbles hits surrounding cool water creating the characteristic “roar” of a heating kettle, right before full boil). I would say that those complains aren’t valid for majority of users, and if you are one that very sensitive to boiling noise, you may have to get a dual wall boiler.now there is a down side, not enough for me to deduct one star, but a down side: the chrome side against the handle is not insulated or doubled walled. so if you holding the handle, you finger are next to the kettle, which is at boiling temperature. it looks from the picture that chrome part is thicker and therefore you would think it would be insulated, but it isn’t. lucky that the grab is wide enough so there isn’t likely that you would touch the side, but there is also a version with water level display in place of the chrome, I would get that if you are concerned about the burning.

Big Spout Is Excellent! Stainless Steel on All Water Areas.
Highly recommend this kettle because only stainless steel touches the water. It is a large kettle with a big spout, so it will the noise level is correspondingly louder than a small kettle with a goose neck spout, but I need the water for my large coffee press … and the big spout is a MUST because small spouts get clogged with minerals. Super functional as it heats up much faster than a big kettle on the gas range. Looks great and the temperature gauge is surprisingly useful.

Cute and functional tea pot.
I have had this tea pot for several months and love it. I use it several times a day and it always works. The size is good – fits easily on my tea drawer. There is a dial on the front that allows you to see how hot the water is getting which is nice. It also keeps it hot for quite a while. You press a lever to start it and it automatically shuts off when the water is boiling. I got the green color which is very pretty and matches my kitchen.

100% stainless steel and cute!
This works great. I love that it’s 100% stainless steel. Some people complained that there wasn’t a window to see inside and how much water was inside. However, most of those are made with plastic, and I didn’t want any plastic in my kettle. I love the temp gauge. It heats quickly. This is my first kettle, so I don’t have a comparison point. I can definitely hear it as it’s warming up, but it feels like a normal noise level that one would expect. It’s also very classy on the counter and I love the retro vibes!

Fantastic color
Very pretty and sleek looking. The color is great and has the cool vintage modern deco vibe. It does seem to take a hot minute to heat up all the way. External temperature gauge is very cool though!

Stylish and the temperature gauge is very helpful for a variety of different applications. If you like your tea at a specific temperature it’s helpful to see when to turn it off.

Loud noise, outside gets very hot
Color and looks cute, but that’s all. It makes very loud noise while boiling and the body gets very hot and dangerous. Be careful especially if you have small children, they might burn themselves. It has temperature gauges, which is nice to see how hot the water is.

Mediocre at best
Heats water well but you have to open the lid to find out how much water is in there. I almost started it with no water. We drink tea during the winter all the time. It’s very useful to know if you have enough water by looking on the outside and not have to open the lid all the time. Furthermore, they claim the thermostat will allow you to heat water to optimal temps.. unfortunately, it doesn’t allow you to actually set a temperature so you have to sit there and stare at the thermostat and catch it at the right time which differs if you have a LOT of water or only a couple of cups. Hence the thermostat is basically useless. Also, the insulation is not great hence if you aren’t careful, you can get a nasty surprise if you touch the wrong part of the kettle. Looks nice and heats well but that’s it. There are better options out there.
