Having an electric kettle is so handy especially with the automatic shut off. It heats water more quickly than using our gas stovetop. The blue illumination makes the water guage easy to read and you can quickly see if it is turned on or not. This is my second Elite Gourmet kettle. The first one was a gift that last over six years of daily use, sometimes multiple times a day. When it stopped working, I immediately order this same kettle from the same company as a replacement.

Good tea pot but hard to clean
Great tea pot. Love that it shuts off on its own. Simple and only 1 button. Nice that there is a built in filter at the spout but cleaning is a bit of a challenge. I use loose tea and it was a pain to clean since the lid doesn’t come off. The way the lid opens partially I can’t get my hand in there either to wash the bottom of the pot.
