Excellent FOV, easy to setup, nice app
Easy to set up following the google homeapp (even with electrical experience it is straightforward) and works perfectly with my transformer that powers my chime and measures at 18-20V 10VA. The angled plate works well to hide wires and the wire adapters. If not using the angled plate, you have to ensure you can hide the wires in the wall or else it won’t sit flush. Setup ran perfectly after I connected everything. Depending on your wifi connection you may get delayed notifications, but the event history is always available anyway. Without a subscription you get to see the first 10 seconds of every video event. High quality video, good frame rate, super excellent FOV. Pretty awesome overall, 5/5 stars.

Better than the Ring in every aspect
This Nest wired doorbell is awesome! After three failed tries with the Ring doorbell I was about to give up on all of them. But I gave this one a try, only because I like the Nest Gen. 3 thermostat so much, and boy am I happy I did. It disconnected from the router the first day, and since then it has been perfect. The button on the Ring was junk, this one is light years better. The clarity on the camera is terrific, a d the event tracking rocks. WAY easier to install than the Ring. In every facet it far outshines the Ring. I wasted a year on that Ring and I’m never going back. Nest rocks!

Successfully Installed and Working in UK
Seeing as Google haven’t released a wired doorbell here in the UK since the Nest Hello, I ordered mine from Amazon U.S. using the priority delivery option. Arrived within 3 days via UPS. Superb.Install was straightforward. Didn’t have any need to keep my original chime (happy with just the Visitor Announcements on my Google Home speaker) so I have mine wired directly to a transformer that sits within a neat little enclosure box on the wall in place of my original chime box.Quality of the new 2K doorbell is great. The 160 degrees lens gives a much better coverage of my front path than the old battery version. Night vision is much better too. Notifications are nice and quick to come through to my phone and Google Home speakers (only about a 2 second delay).

Pricey subscription
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Video Quality and Features — but Pricey SubscriptionI recently upgraded to the Google Nest Doorbell (Wired, 3rd Gen), and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. The 2K video quality is crisp, night vision is clear, and the two-way audio works flawlessly for quick chats with delivery drivers or visitors. Integration with Google Home is seamless, and I really like the live view and smart alerts, which are faster and more reliable than previous generations. The only downside — and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 — is the high subscription cost for the Nest Aware plan. You need it to unlock many of the advanced features like event history and intelligent detection, which makes the total setup quite expensive in the long run.Overall, it’s an excellent smart doorbell with premium performance and build quality — just be prepared for the ongoing subscription cost.

Great doorbell!
Ordered from the UK to replace a Nest Hello which battery had died. In comparison this doorbell has a clear high resolution camera feed. I was unsure about the ivy colour but it looks amazing.

Good doorbell
I am very satisfied with this doorbell. It was simple to install and integrates seamlessly with the Google Home app. The video and night vision quality are excellent. While notifications may be delayed by 30 seconds to 2 minutes, likely due to Wi-Fi interference, the device remains well worth the cost, including the annual subscription.

Low IQ doorbell camera
Installing this doorbell was a nightmare. The initial setup seemed fine. I was able to pair it and even start a software update. Then it failed, shut down completely, and I spent several days troubleshooting. I was very close to returning it, but eventually replaced the transformer, which I am fairly sure I damaged during installation (it started making weird noises during the update). That finally solved the power issue. Once it was up and running, the video feed quality has been solid. Unfortunately, motion detection is a major weak point. Even with a defined activity zone, I get a constant stream of false positives. The subscription service does not noticeably improve this. The pricing is also hard to justify. The free 6 hrs of video history is not enough, and paying $10 – $20 per month for storage feels excessive for what you get, which is an average doorbell. If subscription cost is not a concern, this doorbell may be acceptable. Otherwise, I would recommend looking at other options.
