Excellent outdoor camera with strong video quality and reliable app experience
We added two Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro units to our home in mid-November as our first outdoor security cameras, and after a few months of use they have performed very well.Video quality is impressive. The clarity both during the day and at night has been noticeably better than we expected from other outdoor camera systems we looked at. Motion detection alerts are helpful without feeling overly sensitive, and the ability to easily review recorded events gives peace of mind.Installation and setup were straightforward. The instructions were clear, and integrating the cameras into the Ring app was smooth. We now also have a few Ring-compatible smoke/CO detectors connected through the same app, and having everything in one place works well for our needs.App and features are strong. The Ring app is easy to navigate, the timelines are useful for catching events quickly, and the overall experience feels polished. Ring’s cloud storage and optional monitoring services provide flexibility depending on how much you want to use the system.Monitoring service is good. We chose Ring’s monitoring service and have been satisfied with the experience. Helpful hint.
Ring is a superior product!! I’ve used other cameras and Ring by far is the easiest to set up. If the power goes off it reconnects flawlessly. The controller interface is robust and intuitive.The one challenge I initially had was screwing in the tiny nut that connects the light to the base. I dropped a couple before I came up with a simple solution. Simply use a 1/4” socket with an extension. Hope this helps.

Great home security
I love these. I have one for each side of my house now, and can see everything. Easy to install too. Clear picture, and love the tech that does not go off when my dogs walk in the back, but still goes off for people.

This Ring unit works well. I’m disappointed the unit was not LED. The video quality is great, covering my entire front yard the zoom feature and intercom works well. I did not like the fact that after the 30 day trial I could not record activities in my yard without a subscription

Ring products are the BEST
This Ring wired floodlight camera is awesome. It does exactly what I expected it to do, which is always good when buying any product. I do a lot of handyman and diy projects around the house and so I install, wire, remove, upgrade, etc all kinds of products from many different companies. By far, Ring products are the MOST user friendly tech products I’ve ever used. Functionality, viewing angle, night vision, motion sensor, and all other features are great. But to me, the installation process for a wired product couldn’t be any easier. One small feature that is incredibly useful is the little hook they have on the mounting plate so that you can hang the camera/light on the hook and then have both hands to connect the wiring. Simple genius. Highly recommend.

Overall good quality product, easy installation. But keep in mind that you need to pay a monthly fee in order to get the storage function.
