Easy to install, easy to operate
This eufy doorbell camera far exceeded my expectations. The accuracy, combined with no subscription necessary to operate, made for a fantastic buy. I researched several including the Ring, and went for the eufy. I say you won’t be disappointed with the quality, performance, or cost. I wired mine to the doorbell wires, so the battery-only version may differ in results. For me, easily a 5 star rating…

Phenomenal doorbell! I retired an old Ring and replaced with the Eufy E340. Love the video quality and the lens dedicating a second view of the ground where packages tend to be placed. Connection was quite easy. I had the new doorbell in place and working in under 15 minutes!

Great doorbell camera that doesn’t have monthly subscription!
This doorbell camera is pretty good! Love the facts that I don’t need to pay for monthly subscription so that’s a plus. One complaint is that the battery is for sure not the best but as long as you have 2 you should be good. The floor camera is good for catching packages and notifying when they’re delivered and picked up but it can miss sometimes if the box isn’t big. I would say it’s definitely worth the money! Has the option to record up to 2 minutes but I can’t imagine how much more it would drain the battery. What’s pretty cool is that it comes with 10gb of storage on the doorbell. which isn’t much storage but it’s fine you can always buy a micro sd card for more storage. Overall a really good camera! Great night vision, great sound quality, and very high quality recording and live view.

Eufy Doorbell “at rest” and “activated,” angle mount; Awful Battery Life
TL;DR … this doorbell is power flexible, uses AI effectively, has an attractive build/design, is easy to set up, and uses two good-quality cameras (in day or night).More useful details…Out of the box, this Eufy Doorbell can be installed to use its built-in battery or can be wired directly to your home. Nice.Installation, mounting, and app set up were all straightforward; took about 10 minutes. The hardest part was deciding where, and how high, to place the doorbell! (Eufy does suggest placement but YMMV.)The box came with everything you need, including a template decal that made placing and drilling a breeze; nice touch.The app is a bit clunky (dated?) but works well. Notifications to my phone have been instant. The doorbell itself has a built-in speaker; the doorbell “ding” is very loud and clear. (Another nice feature is that I will hear the doorbell ding in my AirPods if I’m wearing them.)The doorbell has two cameras, so I clearly see both the surrounding area AND the entire floor around my porch. I really like this feature.Visibility at night is good too.Setting detection zones is not intuitive but not hard to figure out. The doorbell can see VERY far in clear sunlight. Before setting up a zone, the camera flagged me at around 45 feet away.AI recognition is eerily accurate (a good thing) … doorbell can identify animals, people, and packages. It will let you know if someone arrives, puts down a package, or picks up a package. So far, it has not misidentified anything. I haven’t set up facial recognition yet; this will let the doorbell know if the person at the door is known/unknown. (Sounds like fun.)Battery: shows 4 out of 5 bars after 2 1/2 weeks of use; unfortunately, there is no percentage. (DO BETTER Eufy.)After 30 days of use (exactly), got a message from the app that the doorbell shut down due to low battery. BATTERY ONLY LAST 30 DAYS! Settings were left at default. :-(Doorbell works with the original Eufy HomeBase and HomeBase 2. The doorbell also works with Alexa and Google Assistant. I haven’t use these features so don’t know how well they work, or if a hub is required. No HomeKit support at this time (Again, DO BETTER Eufy!)btw … you can always set up Homebridge or Hoobs to connect this Eufy doorbell to Apple’s HomeKit; requires a bit more technical expertise.

Best Video Doorbell!
I love this video doorbell, it was super easy to connect to our existing wiring. We just needed to buy a new mounting plate, that worked with vinyl walling. It all worked out perfecting and it connected easily to the doorbell. The app allows you to turn on/off the door bell noise indoors. It connects to Alexa easily, and you can set up alerts for packages and people. The video is very clear, day or night.

Get it and ditch ring
I was using ring but after finding out who they partnered with I decided to check out some other options. I saw this camera and liked that it showed the ground as well. Set up was easy. I didn’t have to agree to a cloud base storage and I didn’t have to pay for recordings! That sold me! Highly recommend. My dad has 4 ring cameras on his house so I’m definitely recommending this camera for him to replace those because he hates having to pay to see his recordings as well. Motion detection is perfect and can be set up to your liking. The night vision is great. I have the eufy door lock as well so I think I’ll be converting fully by getting the indoor cameras as well! Love that everything is within 1 app as well. It’s extremely clear also.

من بعد تجربتي الاولى جوده وتصوير واضح وممتاز ولكن العبره بعد سنه استخدام لان كان عندي نوع غير هذا وللاسف تضررت الشاشه من العوامل الجويه علما انها كانت محفوظه في حافظه لها وكانت محميه من أشعة الشمس المباشره ف ان شاء الله تكون هذي جودة صناعتها افضل وأكثر تحمل بس بشكل عام ومبدئيا ممتازه جدا وسهلة الربط مع الهوم بيس

This doorbell camera exceeded our expectations. The video quality is sharp, audio is clear for two-way communication, and notifications arrive quickly and reliably. The app is easy to use, making setup and daily use simple.One of our favourite features is the package detection. It not only alerts us specifically when a delivery arrives but also when the package is picked up. Right now that’s just us retrieving it, but it’s reassuring to know it would also notify us if someone else tried to take it.We followed the directions to connect the unit to our home’s hard wiring, hoping it would ring inside as well as the app. While our indoor chime rang when tested with the bare wires, it stopped once connected to the eufy (still need to troubleshoot this). The upside is that the hard wire eliminates the need to recharge the battery.EDIT TO ADD: the indoor chime needs to be turned on in settings! Works now!Another big plus is that we’re using the free version of the app and haven’t felt the need for a paid subscription at all. For quality, features, and value without monthly fees, this doorbell is an excellent choice.
