easy installation, great functionality
got this to replace a Kuna that decided to no longer recognized my network or offer to join. Kuna s defunct and this is a terrific replacement. the light itself is heavy and well built. installation is straightforward and the unit connected easily and quickly. the app works better than kim’s and has pan function for the camera. image is crisp and the microphone function is better than it ever was on kim’s. on the whole, i highly recommend this unit.

Jarnex for the win
This is an awesome camera. I gave up my old Kuna camera and what a blessing!!! Jarnex made a great product and works as advertised. Connect is great to my WiFi. Camera is very clear. I had some setup issues, but Henry with customer support gave me over the phone instructions. Awesome customer service. I recommend this porch light to anyone and you can’t beat the price. Solid build also and looks great on my front porch.

Good design but could use some upgrade for camera functions
I bought this because it acts as a sconce light as well as a security camera. I do like the look of the lamp. It’s sleek with glass but not too contemporary and not too old school either. Installation is pretty straightforward. The app allows you to view live video and take snapshot. Overall, I do like the integrated function but the camera capability needs improvement. For example, I cannot adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor. It keeps getting alerts for insets flying around.

Absolutely love how easy the installation went and how clear the video quality was. Alerts are constant but that’s exactly what I wanted, security. Easy to set up connection to Wi-Fi and it detects any and all movement and sound. And it blends so well into my aesthetic. Most people don’t even see it until I use the microphone. So glad I made this purchase.

Porch light camera
I had been shopping around for an easy-to-install backyard camera for a while. At first, I went with a bubble camera, but after using it for some time, I noticed a major issue: at night, the infrared light would reflect inside the dome cover and distort the image. It worked fine during the day, but the night image quality was pretty much unusable.Then I came across this porch light camera. It was simple to install, user-friendly, and the app is very straightforward. Since the camera lens is not enclosed in a dome, there’s no IR reflection issue at night. The video is clear both day and night, and overall I’m extremely satisfied. Highly recommend.

Problem solved!
This was exactly what I was looking for. We have no visibility of our driveway, and this light/camera now gives us a view and without needing a subscription service. Not only does it pick up movement, but also sounds. Looks nice and was easy to install according to my husband.

DOES NOT WORK WITH ALEXA, missleading description
Does not work with Alexa! When I read about this device, the information made it look like it worked with Alexa, other Jarnex products do (from what I understand), but this one does not. This is very disappointing since again, after reading the product details, I was left with the impression that it did.Other issues with this light are a lack of clear instructions, poor guide cell, poor response from product support, and app not very intuitive.Also I think with as much functionality that it has, there Are a few basic areas it falls short. The notifications are slightly delayed, detection is inconsistent, and there is no way to prevent it from constantly ringing if you are standing at the door having a conversation.It looks nice, has clear image, tracks horizantaly fine, and seems well built. However the missleading description and weaknesses gets a do “not buy” from me. I guess if voice control of the light limited personalization/control are OK with you, it’s not that bad, I still say there are better choices out there. I miss Kuna.

Great camera. Records 24/7, video and audio. As long as you have a good internet signal you are OK. User friendly app. You can forget about it and come back to see any events. This gives me peace of mind. I have one facing the front street and will buy two more.
