First I want to say, read all of the instructions or you may be sorry you didn’t (like me).I purchased two of these — one for my bedroom and another for the living room — and I couldn’t be more impressed. The concept is so simple yet absolutely brilliant: an LED strip stretched from wall to wall that transforms the space with clean, modern ambiance. The effect is genuinely stunning and totally unique compared to traditional lighting.Setup was straightforward, and the included Skyline Kit made it easy to get a taut, polished look. Great Light Addition to any room
Added the Skyline to my office area for night time relaxing feel. Was very easy and seamless to install based on instructions given. Lighting is amazing and has such a variety of options from within app to choose from such as solid colors, scenes, AI options, User generated, and many more. The Govee app is pretty easy and intuitive to use so was able to get it up and running very quickly. Highly reccomend this light as it gets very bright and offers incredible vibe to any mancave or just room where its needed. Product seems very well constructed on all aspects for the build quality and the wall mount plates also.

Expensive yes. Worth it, yes. 👌🏾I installed this in my son’s room. It has so many color variations that you can create a colorful atmosphere. The installation took me some hours…I suggest watching the Chris Maher video on YouTube about the Govee strip light with Skyline. I had to cut ✂️ much of the strip several times to get the right size, although I measured each time. Yet the light needs to be tight for the LED strip to function and turn properly. The app makes it a breeze which can control with Alexa or Google Assistant. I just use the controls in the app. The issue I have if going over 15ft, Govee needs to add a center balancing that is a rotary piece as the LED will slump mostly in the middle over long distances. Overall, its one of Govee best products. I have no idea on the longevity of this but it’s been close to a year with zero problems.

I love these lights. They look great and are relatively easy to install.A few tips from someone who has installed these before. Maybe its written somewhere but do not put the LEDs on the entire strip of the metal part. If you do and you use the tightening screw on the joint connector you will break the led and then the strip wont work. That was my own silly mistake but govee sent me a replacement led anyway.Install your joints first, then the metal channel, trim that to fit and then match the LED to the channel after its already tightened and in place.Pictures are the latest strip I installed to replace a standing lamp, second is another unit I have in another location.

Great way to bring light to a room that needs more light without a great expense.
I brought three of these at the insistence of my son as I moved into a small condo and the lack of light was awful. To get electricians in to re wire was going to be expensive. I have two in living room, and one in bedroom. Can be worked with Alexa, who wakes me up with the light turning on at 7 and morning info, and the ones in living room, along with Alexa turn on at a certain time at night. Which is nice as it gives off a pleasing light. Also it can be adjusted to different colours as needed. I didn’t think I would like it, but I do.

Super cool and fun
Love love love these! They are so fun to hang up and play with. We have many other Govee products that all work together. The dream view is great if you have the TV lights. Our whole living room lights up with the movies and creates an immersive experience. I also really like doing some of the other settings to give a nice comfy lighting feel to them. We bought two sets to cover our living room. It’s a long piece and was easy to install.

Govee did it again!!!
Another Govee product hit!!! Very bright and like how I can tell Alexa to turn it on once I walk into the room. I do have a automation set up so my echo can turn it on for me once I walk into the room and it detects my face but since my room is dark it almost never triggers, I have it set up to trigger after sunset. Lots of options to customize the colors and I have it synced up to my other lights in the room. Set up took my while due to me being careful and double checking my measurements and making sure it was going to be even.

Be prepared to have it look like you’ve hung a shower curtain rod in your living room. Other than that the LED strip is VERY high quality and I wish they sold the strip as a stand-alone.
