We purchased two sets of the Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro – one for our 55-inch TV and another for our 75-inch TV – and both have completely transformed our viewing experience.Installation was quick and straightforward, taking about 15 minutes per setup, and the Govee App integration was seamless since we already use multiple Govee products in our home.The app offers hundreds of preset scenes, AI lighting effects, voice control, and DreamView syncing, which allows the backlights to synchronize with our other Govee lights for a unified, immersive effect across the entire room.Calibration was equally easy – just attach the orange foam blocks to the screen (as pictured in the guide) and follow the on-screen prompts. The process took around 3 minutes, and ensuring no glare on the screen helps the triple camera detect edges accurately. If needed, a ring light can help reduce glare during setup.Once calibrated, the HDR triple camera delivers vivid, accurate color mapping that moves in sync with the content on screen. Very happy with this purchase! The backlights extend the screen and soften the edges, so the viewing is easier on the eyes while simultaneously enhancing the overall experience. Calibration was easy and effective. The app has some very nice functionality – including a timer, music sync, general ambiance, and AI Movie enhancement – with lighting effects that range from soothing ambiance to a nightclub experience. We consider the $210 pricetag a nice upgrade to our main TV.

Bright, Quality Backlighting
The brightness and color output on this backlight are excellent. It gets plenty bright even in a lit room, and the colors are vivid and accurate enough to make movies and games feel more immersive. The triple-camera setup does a good job capturing what’s on screen, and once dialed in, the effect is really impressive.Setup takes a bit of patience, but the app is solid and offers lots of customization. The main downside is a small amount of latency—there can be a slight delay between on-screen changes and the lights reacting. It’s not a dealbreaker for casual viewing, but you’ll notice it occasionally with fast cuts or gaming.Overall, a great upgrade for TV ambiance if you value brightness and atmosphere and can live with a touch of lag.

Then LEDS are excellent and they work just how they are told. The lights fit perfectly and my tv is 65 inch, it is expensive but definitely not over priced. They flicker when the screen flickers and the backlights look so good on my wall. And you might think that the camera will bother you or get in the way but it actually doesn’t. I recommend these lights.💯💯

This product is fantastic, the transitions are very smooth, the color is very easily adjustable, the app connectivity is painless and user friendly, the installation instructions were simple to understand, and I’m very happy with it. It is a little pricey but the difference between the three camera model to the less expensive models with less cameras is night and day. Would highly recommend

The triple camera is the way to go
I got this to try out the updated model in a different room – I have the previous model with 2 cameras set up as well. The improvements are amazing – color and light are spot on and brilliant. I liked the old model, but will be upgrading the other room after having set this up. It is a little close to fit for a 55 inch TV (the width takes it right to the edges) but to be fair Samsung TV backs are kind of odd. The app is still great for managing all Govee products and they have updated that too with some fun interactive activities that leverage community input. The only thing I don’t like is the adhesive clips they give you for cord control. For some reason they last like a day then come loose and fall off even though the adhesive seems strong – probably the heat of the TV on the small adhesive surface of the clip. I replaced them with 3M cord clips and haven’t had a problem since. Can’t wait to get another one and try out syncing with my other Govee lights.

I’m using this on a 77”oled tv in a darker area and they look spectacular. Installation is pretty simple and taking the time to calibrate properly is the key to the experience. Best to buy on sale as it is a bit pricey. Amazing how good of a job it does of instantly switching to match colors on the tv screen and improving the overall viewing experience. Recommended.

Maybe it’s me, but I can’t get the colours to actual match the scene. Screen is all red and orange, lights go pink and blue. Probably on my end maybe some more tinkering.

Lights stick really well on the wall, application is permanent as it will take paint off the wall. Lights and Govee app are excellent.
