Smarter light control with the PHILIPS Hue Wireless Smart Light Switch Button
Smooth and sleek, this larger smart button allows you to trigger scenes based on time of day or cycle through a selection. Time-based light automatically sets your lights to the best color and brightness based on the time of day.
Flexible smart lighting control
Scene cycle lets you choose different scenes for up to 10 time slots, and pressing the button will cycle through. Single scene sets one chosen scene. Press and hold the button to dim or brighten the lights in your space. Start or stop an automation — which you can create in the Automations tab — with a simple press.
Control all lights anywhere in your home with one button
Use the included adhesive to mount the button around your home. The mount doubles as a magnet, so you can also place it on any magnetic surface. Transform Your Lighting with Philips Hue Wireless Dimmer Switches!
These Philips Hue wireless dimmer switches are an absolute game-changer! Seriously, I’m kicking myself for not getting them sooner. If you’re looking for an incredibly easy and convenient way to control your Philips Hue lights, look no further.Effortless InstallationForget about tools, drilling, or messy wires. Installation is unbelievably simple: just peel off the adhesive backing and stick them wherever you need them. A quick wipe of the surface with rubbing alcohol beforehand ensures a super strong bond. It’s truly a no-fuss, no-muss setup.Quick and Easy SetupConfiguring these switches is just as straightforward. My first one took about five to ten minutes to get set up, but after that, each subsequent switch was a breeze—literally about a minute per switch. They work beautifully right out of the box.Remote Control and Magnetic ConvenienceOne of the coolest features? These switches aren’t just for your wall! You can easily remove the switch from its base and use it as a portable remote. And here’s the best part: the back of the switch is magnetic! Stick it to your headboard, a metal nightstand, or any other metal surface within reach. When you’re done, simply pop it back onto its wall mount. It’s incredibly versatile and convenient.I’m truly impressed with these switches and the entire Philips Hue ecosystem. The ease of use, simple installation, and clever features like the magnetic remote truly set them apart. If you’re considering enhancing your smart lighting setup, these wireless dimmer switches are a must-have!

Must have for Hue light owners
Very easy to set up and customize to your liking. We replaced every light in our house with color hue lights and it’s been nice to be able to have more functionality than a basic color on or off switch. I’ve had no problems with the adhesive at all, they’ve stayed where I want them for a while now. I like that you can also remove the switch from the baseplate if needed to use it more like a remote than a wall switch. It offers great functionality as well by allowing you to dim lights and to assign different scenes to the number of times you press the on button.

Love this for newborns
we use this in our bedroom to control the light with our newborn. It was super easy to set up and controls the brightness very easily in the Alexa app. Was able to turn on the brightness very low during late night, feedings and diaper changes.

Works great, needs stronger magnet.
Easy setup, works reliable, battery lasts way longer than previous gen. My only qualm with this product is that the magnet is quite weak and I keep knocking the remote off the holder.

Top Tier Smart Home Accessory
In my view, Philips Hue makes the highest caliber of smart home products, which is why they are the makers of nearly all the light bulbs in my home. I added this switch to a room I recently redesigned and, as always, adding it to my account, linking it with targeted lights, and affixing it to the wall was accomplished in less than 10 minutes.

Convenient for Setting up One Touch, Variable Lights for a Room or Zone
My home project earlier this year was converting a lot of my home lights to Smart lighting. For a while these were backordered and I had the simple one push smart buttons but mostly because I just couldn’t access these. I wish I had started with these! I was able to obtain three of them. The plate was easy to install and looks nice with the existing hardware for a 2000s constructed house. It involves just screwing in a base plate and snapping on the top plate. The remote easily attaches with the magnet to the base and is very portable, attaches strongly to stay put but isn’t so strong you have to wrench the remote off. Sometimes in the dark I have flailed at it and knocked it out of the groove but that’s pretty infrequent. The settings are interesting – the top button can be set to either be a specific single brightness for a room/zone/set of lights, dimmer works well but is a bit slow in speed. HUE switches between a set of up to five scenes that you can program for the zone or room.I have my home exit switch which is in my ‘mud room area’ set to ‘turn off all lights after holding for three seconds’ and this easily lets me shut off all lights in my house on my way out. The HUE button is what’s most convenient for my uses, because of all my rooms my bedroom has eleven separate lights (in a variety of towers, nightstand, accent lights, and torch). There are some times I just want to turn on a few lights when I’m zipping in to grab something and don’t want every single light on. The ‘power’ top switch I have set to a nice incandescent color. For the scenes, I set the first one as a limited scene with just one tower and the torch so I get enough light to see by but don’t have to turn on every single light. Multiple presses then go into my favorite four scenes afterwards. In essence this is a like a two button ‘on’ switch where I can use the Hue to get to a more efficient pattern, all from one single switch site. I have these also set up for my living room, where power is the full shebang and then HUE is only a overhead light over my computing desk – which makes it super convenient to use one single switch site to control multiple looks of lights. It’s so easy to swap things around once you have the switches in place. So far so good!

Highly functional and useful
I was a bit unsure of this product at first but it is quite excellent! Within the app, you can specify which light or lights it controls and the buttons are large and easy to press, with the expected on/off, dimmer, and a fourth button which is customizable but useful for cycling between preset lighting, especially on multicolor lights. Have been using this almost daily to control a bedside light between reading modes, nightlight, and mood lighting. Highly recommend!

I have about 6 years of experience with home automation and Philips Hue products, and this Hue Smart Dimmer (v2) stays in one of the best of my home automation gadgets like the title states. In the very beginning, I was hesitate to purchase this v2 dimmer from hue product line, as it has round corner and has the dimmer up and down button on actually one physical button which differs from the v1 hue dimmer, which I have been used it for many years and liked it so much. But since last year, one of my v1 dimmer became unstable connecting to my home assistant hub, I started to consider to buy a new one, and since then, the v1 dimmer was already difficult to find on market and thus after waited for a year, eventually decided to go with v2.First of all, v2 dimmer (this one) has the same amount of buttons, but different labels, as the top button has changed to be ON/OFF rather than v1’s ON only. This led to the bottom bottom to be customizable. You can configure it on your phone app to be a scene-change button or others. This v2 dimmer works smoothly with my home assistant (HA) green (I have hue bridge as well, but switched to use HA one year ago), I would highly confirm that it works so good and smooth with HA and so customizable). So that, if you are an HA user, go for it, won’t regret. The attached picture shows what actions/automations I added for the dimmer in HA, I left the bottom “Hue” button unused for future.

This switch is so cool. I installed it underneath the dining room table to control the dining room lamp.

This switch was easy to set up and connected quickly. I just need to go in and change the brightness settings as it relates to the time of day. I want to keep these lights dim all the time. I am using this switch for some lights at the bottom of our basement stairs. The stairs are kinda in a Alexa “dead zone” where, if you forget to turn them on by voice before heading downstairs, you’d have to shout to have them turn on. I considered a motion sensor but didn’t want them turning on all the time. Plus this switch was cheaper than a motion sensor by almost half!
