Nicely made, good quality
These wheelchair (or really, any chair) cushions are made to help with the bottom and the back with ergonomic cushioning. They are made to give support where needed, but also to have less pressure in areas that are more sensitive to sitting for extended periods of time. They could work just as well on an office chair or kitchen chair. I got these because I do a lot of work sitting in my chair and I do get very sore sometimes. This helps with my sciatica. The foam is firm, but with some give. The cushions have straps to hold them to a chair. The bottom cushion is split in two; to accommodate wider chairs (they have a strap that connects the two). The back has an “egg grate” style foam to help with the lower back. They have zipper openings, so you can take the foam padding out to wash the cover, or you can replace the foam, if it ever gets worn out. The seat cushions also have a non-slip fabric on the bottom side. The thickness is good enough for comfortable padding, but not so thick as to have a problem with sitting on it. Super easy to use.

It’s, okay, I guess…
Honesrly, I don’t love it. I ordered it on sight without reading the derails which is my fault so I was shocked when it arrived in 3 pieces. I didnt realize the the cushion is split in two and those two pieces are jeld to gether by twonshort little velcro strips. The comfort of it is okay but I do find it shifrs a little and I feel like the velcro is going to wear out before the cushion itself. I just really wish it were not two pieces. The back rest is supportive if you have a mire straight back computer chair. It works well in a stiffer, more flat office chair at work but it didnt provide much support in my ergonomic executive chair because it has a slight bend in the back that the cushion is two thin to counter. Overall, I dont really love this set for myself, bit maybe others will be more satisfied.

Good Donut Pillow for tailbone and back pain

Honestly, Not great.
Feels very flimsy and cheap. Has a giant weird hole in the middle that doesn’t support or help anything. Feels rather lumpy and impractical.Was however a good size cushion.

Lasting comfort, from a wheelchair user
I have had a few days out with these pillows in my setup, and I have to say that I am satisfied. I found them to be pleasantly soft and added lasting comfort to my day. I liked their ability to be broken apart, as it helped with getting the chair in and out of my small sedan. I thought that they were very functional for my setup and were able to stay in place throughout the day. I found the lumbar support to be very helpful for my back pain. Overall I have no major complaints about this pillow set.

Nice memory foam cushion set
The HOMBYS donut pillow for tailbone pain is nice. Its a firm memory foam cushion that has a hole in the middle to relieve pressure on the tailbone. It also comes apart to help with sleep positioning. The back side is slip resistant so it stays in place. There is also a back cushion for added back support while sitting, it has an adjustable strap to help position it in place. This pillow is very functional. Its comfortable and helps with posture. Its a nice size cushion. The only thing I don’t like is the velcro that connects the two bottom pillow pieces isn’t very strong and long term I don’t see it holding up well. It is a very nice cushion set overall and helps with extended sitting periods.

These are fairly heavy, as the foam is quite dense, which I think is good. They are sized right for a small to medium sized person. If you or the patient are larger bodied, you might want to seek out a bariatric option. Otherwise, is as advertised.
