Stopped working very quickly, as did the replacement Stay Away!
So far, not so good. Machine worked fine for a couple of dozen cups over a couple of weeks. Coffee quality OK, better than some, not as good as others. Then it stopped working. I went through the trouble shooting steps, no dice. Then I chatted with customer support. Support said I had to descale it before they would replace it. There is no way it stopped working because it needs to be descaled after so little time. Just wasting my time. I will do it, and if it works I will update. I guess this is an issue with “modern” electronic machines. When you go to make coffee all of the lights on the thing just flash…with a mechanical machine that would not happen. Here is what my research says:Descaling alone is not likely the root cause if your Keurig-style brewer fails after only a few weeks of use.Most likely: a clog, misalignment, or a sensor/firmware issue—especially if it’s a WiFi/smart model.Update- customer support is the worst of the worst. Emailed with me for troubleshooting, told me what to do and said if it did not work they would replace. They were prompt responding to my first email and then the second with troubleshooting tips. After the tips did not work, I sent them a follow up email. It has been two weeks with two more follow up emails and they have yet to respond. Based on deeper research and looking at the better business bureau website it is clear this is a company you don’t want to buy from. Not quite a full scam, some of the machines work, but clearly a lot don’t and then you are stuck. Amazon should not sell their goods.Update- Well, the second one they sent me lasted about 10 cups of coffee before the same thing happened. 10 weeks since I purchased it, maybe 2 dozen cups of coffee made. Most of the time spent waiting for them to agree to send me a new one, and then waiting for them to actually send it. Stay away from this brand. I have learned they went bankrupt last year and were bought by a private equity firm…they obviously just care about profits…what a disaster!

Needs a Widget or Shortcut
UPDATE: Something changed in the app to bring the clicks down from 10 to 4. It’s a pop-up recommendation, presumably because I only use the app for this one thing and “bookmarked” it. If I click out of it, I don’t know how to get back to it. It just reappears. This is a slight improvement but if you use the app for other recipes it might not always be easy to find this coffee shortcut again and other recommended shortcuts might appear. Thanks to this change I use the app much more often but I would prefer a more customizable shortcut that I can actually control.However, I still absolutely love this coffee maker! It consistently makes a great cup every time. Though I will add that the water volume of each cup varies by a couple of ounces. Not a big deal to me.ORIGINAL: It makes great coffee and has been reliable after several months. The regular setting is still fairly strong, how I like it, so I don’t even use the bold setting. It brews quickly but not too quickly (like a Keurig). Quality and taste are fantastic. I love that it takes a moment to soak the grinds before fully brewing!My primary complaint is that it takes no less than 10 clicks through menus and settings to brew a cup from the app; more possibly, depending on where you keep the app icon. I brew with the same settings every time. I would love a widget on my home screen to brew quickly, or at lease a way to add a favorite setting or shortcut within the app. Often it’s easier just to walk into the kitchen and push the button since I have it all set up and it doesn’t take very long.Also, know that you can only access the smaller cup sizes and the iced coffee settings from the app. There are no buttons for these on the device. I find this mildly annoying.If I could have a shortcut to brew without feeling like I’m programming a robot I’d give this 5 stars. 🙂

Do not buy. Product breaks in less than 1 year and Warranty no good.
The coffee maker is a nice design and looks good on counter. Made decent Kcup coffee for 9 months then completely quit working. The power and 10 ounce light flash and will not reset. I followed directions and took device apart to fully clean the needles and pod holder. Still no joy. The warranty is for one year so I contacted Instant Pot customer service.. They refuse to honor their warranty because they say I purchased it from an unauthorized seller here on Amazon. Yet Amazon shipped the product and accepted my credit card for payment. I even looked on Instant Pot website and they refer you to Amazon to purchase the product on line. I do not recommend buying this product because the company will not stand behind it. Customer support is terrible.

Didn’t last
Loved this coffee maker. Easy to use & simple, but as several others noted mine didn’t even last a year. I bought it in July 2024 & March 2025 I tried to make my coffee, but it won’t even power on. Completely dead after 9 mos.

This is a very early review but I have to say this is a very nicely built machine. The water tank is not as big as some other models but I can live with that. The coffee is piping hot and very tasty.
