Upon opening the box and reading the instructions, this unit states that it will not transmit through to the exterior. I decided to give it a go anyway since I already installed a no neutral switch for the outdoors. I first plugged it in to a wall about 30 feet away but within sight of the switch through a sliding glass door. That was a no go. I then plugged it in less than 20 feet away but through concrete block. That did the trick and I will update if problems arise. Setup is very easy with the My Leviton App. I only gave it 4 stars because it says it will transmit 50 feet and won’t go through exterior walls. I think 50 feet even inside is very small, thus if you needed it elsewhere you would have to buy multiple units, which could get expensive. I would like to see it have for sure capability to go outside as it also states for inside use only.

Constantly disconnects and needs rebooted
Works for a few days then needs reset…. which eats up a couple of minutes through their incredibly slow app that doesn’t connect 80% of the time. The time saved telling Alexa to turn of the light is eaten away by the time spent resetting the device and rocker.I gave up after 2 years of trying to get this thing to work consistently and properly… I switched it out for a normal switch.This product is garbage. Would not recommend.

Just what I needed. I have a stairwell with only one light switch so you need to leave it on so you can see to return to the upstairs. What a waste of energy. Now I can just tell Google to turn off the switch when I am down stairs and the light goes off. Then when I am ready to go back upstairs, I tel Google to turn on the switch and I can see to ascend without wasting money on electricity while in the basement.

This wifi bridge worked about three months. Now it keeps dropping off the internet wifi and I have to set pairing and log it back it every couple days. Didn’t change anything so I don’t know what’s wrong. What can I say, expensive and have invested in switches etc and doesn’t work half the time see pictures

Terrible product. Loses connection all the time, have to reset daily. All my other smart switches from other companies work perfectly but unfortunately I needed two with no neutral wire. Expensive not to work.
