There are so many versions and brands of these alarm clock types that it makes choosing super hard. I decided to take a chance on this one and it’s been everything that was needed. This clock is good looking during the day and mesmerizing at night and the alarm abilities seem endless. It gradually brightens the room to simulate a sunrise, by gently awakening you to a peaceful and natural start to your day. Two of the best features are the app compatibility and the ability to work with Alexa. It’s so much easier having the ability to control my the clock wirh the APP instead of the side of bed, clock in hand. Everything from the settings, alarms, tones, volume, and lights and etc are easily controlled through the app. Since the alarm works with Alexa I find it extremely convenient, especially when I don’t feel like getting out of bed or reaching for my phone. The FM radio feature is a nice addition as not all clocks have it. Plus the FM sound quality from this clock’s built-in speaker is surprisingly good and gets loud. Fantastic!

No more oversleeping
This alarm clock fascinated me because of its uniqueness; I love the sunrise concept. It is quite effective because it is irritating; you cannot sleep with a bright light in your face. You can snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, but throughout my time with this clock, I found it unnecessary. I cannot fall back to sleep after being woken up by the alarm clock.Setting up the clock was simple once I understood all of the buttons and features. This clock also allows you to configure two alarms: setting the time, days, volume, sound, and duration of “sunrise.” There are several alarm sounds to pick from, ranging from pleasant to annoying, and this clock also features a beautiful ambient lighting display setting and sleep sound effects. I particularly enjoy that you can choose between a low-light or bright-light time display, and you can even turn it off entirely.My only problem with the clock has been the FM radio; even after unraveling the wire and moving it around, I have been unable to receive a clear signal. Because I had no intention of using this feature in the first place, it isn’t a major concern for me, but it is something for others to think about. I also can’t comment on the app or Alexa/Google compatibility because I don’t intend to use those functions. This alarm clock is great for heavy sleepers and those of us who prefer to sleep in with blackout curtains.

Versatile clock
I have another clock of a different brand that looks exactly the same. The main difference is this let’s me control it through an app, where as the other one has to be done manually.You do have to be somewhat tech savvy or have the technician help you set up the 2.4g wi-fi. Though your modem might have 2.4g and 5G during your initial setup which makes it much easier in this case.Lots of different light modes and background music. I do like waking up to the sunrise alarm. Even without music it’s bright enough to still wake me up.There are more expensive versions available with more features, but this is a good start.

Sunrise alarm clock
This is a decent cheap sunrise alarm clock. It works as expected and the alarm works at the expected times set. It has basic alarm clock functions. The radio is so so, but I’m not getting this for audiophile sound quality. It works with app and voice control but I prefer old fashioned pressing things. The alarm tone works but is on the gentle side, so heavier sleepers should take note. This works as ana alarm clock. This is cheaper than most reliable sunrise alarm clocks I’ve used before. This works well so far, but I’ll update the review if that changes. This is straightforward for a sunrise alarm clock.

I wanted an alarm clock that would wake me up with the radio, and this is perfect! It was super easy to set up and the instructions were easy to follow. It has a bunch of other sounds that you could choose from, but I have always preferred waking up to the radio and listening to that while I get ready. Works great and looks great too!
