Excellent stand for larger, heavier tablets, holds my 1.5 lb ipad in its case
This is a fantastic heavy duty phone/tablet holder. I have a heavy duty case on my ipad that makes it weigh over 1 1/2lbs. This is the only tablet stand I’ve found that can support the weight and hold my tablet both vertically and horizontally. It swivels a full 360 degrees, and you can adjust the height of the stand. After seeing me using it, we had to buy a second one for my husband because he was so impressed with the quality.

First off, I do like it. I bought this because I wanted a stand that would actually “swivel”. I have an IPad Pro 11”. I wanted a stand that I could put on my kitchen table when I cook/ prepare dinner. To be able to swivel around as I move. The issue I’m having is that it doesn’t swivel very freely. I have to kind of hold onto the base with one hand and then swivel the IPad (while still holding onto the base) with the other. Maybe mine will “loosen up” in time, heck, maybe I’m too picky. Maybe it needs a shot of DW-40 to loosen things up. It should be noted that I use my IPad Pro in portrait mode most of the time. Maybe it works better in Landscap mode.I had a stand that didn’t move at all, just held my IPad. I have tried to adjust this swivel stand to a little bit higher setting. Hopefully that helps. I bought this stand when it went on sale for 24% off plus an additional 10% off coupon. On the up side the stand is attractive to look at, it has rubber on the back of the stand where the IPad sits as well as the bottom to softly hold the device. The IPad Pro fits perfectly even with my JETech case on it. (A minimal case) So no issue there.As long as you know what you are getting: a well build, attractive stand that just doesn’t swivel as easily as I’d like. You can’t go wrong. If the stand loosens up OR I find out I’m doing something wrong I’ll update.Update: I did rewatch the videos that were available on this item and I did see that the people in the videos were, in fact, holding the base with one hand and swiveling the top part with their other hand. All three video showed the exact same thing. It was subtle but there. I guess I didn’t notice it before. My bad. I’ll stick with my 4 star rating.Update: 1-16-26. It did final loose up. After about 18 months of use it started to swizzle more easily (though not as much as I’d like). I use this item every day.

It Holds My Largest Tablet Securely
I love this tablet stand and could not be more pleased with it. I use it every day. The larger of my two tablets is 12.7″, and I was concerned that any stand would easily tip over. Not so, with this stand. It adjusts four ways, up/down in height, and tilts back to front. There is undoubtedly a position for most tablets or phones.Contrary to other reviews I read before purchase, I can rotate my stand with a tablet on it easily with one finger. The stand easily folds flat, so I can tuck it into a handbag or suitcase for travel. It is made of sturdy metal with no plastic parts, so it should last a long time.

Great stand, may get tippy if too upright
This is a great stand for my iPad. My daughter has had a similar one for a couple of years, so I thought I would try it.As other reviewers have stated, if you use your iPad in a portrait mode and have the stand set for as tall as possible it can get a little tippy if you lean the iPad back. That should be easy enough to keep in mind and avoid (or you can weight the front of the stand with something, like a book, to hold it down). Another item to keep in mind is that it does not clamp or “lock” onto your device, but it does work with my case. You may not be able to use a very bulky case.This allows us to video chat with our grandkids at the dining room table during lunch. I also like it as a phone stand at my desk and I am pretty sure it will work to hold the external portable monitor that I am considering buying. The swivel is a nice feature as are the soft pads on the bottom and cradling the iPad.My only concern is that the hinges may get too loose over time, but only time will tell but in the meantime this seems a great value and well worth the purchase.
