How to connect to Alexa and Google Home
Use Alexa App or Computer to set up your Amazon Alexa.
In the menu bar,go to”Skills” and search for “BN-HUB”. Enable Skill, then type in your login info from your app account to finish.
Trouble Connecting? Try AP (Slow-Blinking) Mode
1.Tap “+” symbol (top right corner)>“Add Manually” >”Electrician”> “Socket (Wi-Fi)”
2.Tap “Net Pairing Mode” on the top right corner of the screen >Select “AP Mode”
3.Press the power button for 5 sec.
4.Tap “Confirm indicator slowly blink”
Why can’t I use the HBN smart APP?
You may receive either the old or new version-both are identical(but the compatible apps differ).The older version is the HBN Smart App, and the newer version is the BN-HUB App. Please download the app according to the product packaging.

Upgraded units are JUNK! Buyer beware!
The older generation of HBN smart outdoor outlets works like a charm I loved them. I wanted to add to my yearly Xmas display this year and needed more so I bought two new ones that said upgraded models, didn’t think much of it as the older versions were fantastic. Needless to say the upgraded versions are junk! Connections issues along with timer issues! They will come on fine but will not turn off at the desired times I have them set for I thought it may of been my internet which it isn’t. My old HBN ones still work perfectly so it has to be the upgraded models tried contacting HBN directly with no response. Contacted amazon and returning both units. And purchased from another manufacturer that’s not HBN. When you had a good product that worked well don’t ever just change it up shame on you HBN smart outdoor outlets there’s nothing smart about the upgraded outlets!

Easy to set up and configure, work great
These are awesome! Plugged them in, added my WiFi info, and the app picked them up right away. Five minutes is all it took, from opening the box, to configuring them for my needs.I bought these to remotely control the electric heaters at my vacation home. They’re perfect because each one can handle a full 15 amps, 1875 watts, which exceeds the needs of each heater. I can set a schedule for each heater, or manually turn them in or off, depending on need.I had originally bought a different brand, more highly rated, but I couldn’t get them to connect, and I’m a network engineer! But these, no issues. They connected right away.I’m very happy with these and highly recommend them.

Received and had working with SmartLife app in less than 5 minutesI use AC1300 DECO router MESH that supports both 2.5 and 5 Gig and they connected easilyMy only complaint, Alexa only recognized 2 names of device. In smartlife the set gets a name as does each plug, meaning 3 names. But Alexa only recognizes set name and outlet 2, but not outlet 1. C the plugs work independently but have to use name for set and outlet 2If not for this I would have give 5 stars, but this quick dropped one star.I am reaching out to HBN and if I get response will update reviewGreat quality and easy to schedule via smartlife, have not tried HBN app as I have other devices on smartlife so I am happy I can use that app for these alsoAgain, only complaint is naming for Alexa control but they still work independently and connect easily.

No problem setting it up. Pretty easy. Mine is hooked up to my engine block heater, set to switch on when the outside temperature hits -15c (5f). That part works fine. I’m not sure where it finds the temperature. That part is unpredictable. As the temperature rises, it does not turn off, or I can’t figure it out. As far as switching off and on with my IPhone, it’s perfect. All in all, I like this product a lot.

This Outdoor Smart WiFi Plug Outlet is a fantastic value for its capabilities and the convenience it provides. I wanted something for my two-speed pool pump, which I typically just run at a low speed to reduce electricity costs. Beyond that, I also wanted an easy way to schedule it to go on and off. As this works with the Smart Life app, it was as easy as plugging in the WiFi plug outlet and adding the device to my app. It didn’t take five minutes.Note that I already have my wireless network configured for 2.4 and 5 GHz, so no network reconfigurations were required. This device will require 2.4 GHz connectivity.Once added, I manually tested turning it on and off via the app, then synced it to Google Assistant and verified that voice commands to turn it on and off worked perfectly. I then spent some time exploring the various scheduling options in the app and opted for the “Circulate” scheduling option.One important thing to note is that this limitation applies to the Smart Life app. If you are scheduling a “Circulate” option, ensure it’s less than 12 hours, as it won’t work otherwise. I have mine set to power on at 7:30 AM and power off at 7:00 PM. It will then start and run the pump for two hours, turn it off for 30 minutes, and continue this cycle for 11.5 hours. I leave it off overnight.Highly recommend this device, works great!
