Very nice table, convenient and adjustable
I really like this desk, which is currently living at my bedside. The laminate is decent, and if taken care of shouldn’t show any wear for quite a while. The height is very adjustable. It does wobble more easily the higher it’s set, of course, but has stayed stable even though I have it set as high as it will go. The metal components are strong and will last a long time. It’s easy and quick to assemble, though it’s helpful to have a second person when assembling the bottom of the metal frame. This sort of furniture can last a long, long time, but it often gets discarded due to poor assembly and maintenance. Here are some things I’ve learned through many years of putting together similar items, as well as advice for this desk in particular.1. Tighter is not better! Run the bolts in by hand, then use the hex-key to go a little farther, until you feel it start to take a bit of effort to tighten them. Then go no more than a quarter-turn to make the bolts snug. Do NOT try to crank them down as tight as they will go.If you really crank the bolts at the start, they pull against their connections in the wood of the table-top, and they also put too much pressure on the screw-threads. With everyday wiggling, the bolts eventually become just a little bit loose. Noticing that it’s getting more wiggly than it was at the start, you think maybe you can fix it by tightening the bolts again, and crank them down again; but that only adds more stress, and that’s when the furniture starts to break. The bolts holding the top to the metal might pull right out of the wood, or the threads of the bolts might strip.2. You just put it together? Note when you did that and mark your calendar for 6 months later; every 6 months, it’s good to give the bolts a quick check to be sure everything is still snug. That keeps your table from wobbling. When the table is wobbling due to loose screws, it’s wearing itself out.3: With this table, when you put the bottom two legs on (I think these are both the #4 pieces), start out with the two long bolts, and get them most of the way (not all the way) screwed in before you put in the two smaller bolts to each side. Otherwise, when the two small bolts are in, it’s harder to get the long bolt to thread properly.4. It sure doesn’t hurt to put a waterproof placemat or other cover on the laminate top! Laminate is way too easy to damage when it gets wet. It’s waterproof on top, but if some of the water happens to get in at the edge, it’ll bubble up the top. So; it’s just better to cover it, if you want to get at least a decade of use out of it.5. Set it as low as is reasonable for the job you’re doing. If it’s set high, it’s not only more wobbly, it’s easier to tip over. The fact that I made these five suggestions is NOT an indication that the table is low quality; it’s pretty standard fare for a home-use side-table, and its overall construction is quite good for something the customer puts together. I like mine, and I’m already using it constantly.

Not fancy furniture, but it’s functional at a budget price
The table arrived packaged well. The individual parts were labeled with stickers. The nuts and bolts were each in labeled individual pouches. It included several pages of detailed assembly instructions. The pieces fit together well. ‘Step 3’ Part E was mislabeled. The linchpin was Part J. Part E was a spare plastic sleeve for Part 2. The linchpin has a ball lock on it. You might have to push the pin in a little harder to get this little spring-loaded ball to go through the hole, but it discourages the pin from coming out on its own. The table included a few extra bolts and misc. The wheels on the casters are only 1.5″ in diameter. A bit on the small side, but they work for the most part.Approximate tabletop dimensions: 23-5/8″ wide, 15-3/4″ deep. Top is 1/2″ thick. The table is around 32-3/8″ at its tallest setting. The listing says it can hold 66lbs. I’m not planning on putting that much weight on it, but the metal frame is fairly sturdy. If the table doesn’t want to roll, make sure the caster locks aren’t on. The table has a little wobble to it, but not enough to interfere with using a laptop or tablet. The height adjustment is based on 4 holes in the pedestal. As long as these predrilled holes have a height you’re comfortable with, you’re good to go. Durability: the table is fairly durable and should hold up to normal use. Value: these small rolling desks can be pricey, so a price in the $50 range is a good value.

I always need an extra surface to work on and LOVE the adjustable height!
I am always working on something around my house and seem to be in need an extra surface to work on. To be honest, I usually pull out my ironing board to be that extra surface.I love that this table is on lockable casters and there are multiple heights to choose from. This table is far superior to your average “TV tray” and looks lovely and modern in any room. The faux wood top is a nice touch and the surface is even and flat, which makes it great if you are needing a flat surface to write on. I appreciate that it is also durable and secure when rolling. It doesn’t feel “wobbly” at any point. There are 4 places for the pin to lock into got the adjustable height. There is also a circular clamp at the top that allows you to tighten down and secure at which ever height you choose. The measurements for the actual tabletop are 23.75″ long x 15.75″ wide. The 4 adjustable height options are placed at 4″ intervals (measurements below are from floor to top of table):Lowest height is 20.25″ -2nd height is 24.75″ -3rd height is 28.75″ and the tallest,4th height is 32.75″.I included a photo at my kitchen counter so you could get an idea of the tallest height in comparison to an average countertop height. There is an additional storage hook underneath the table if needed. My husband assembled this for me quickly and easily as there are helpful instructions included in the box.So far I am loving this table and have used it everyday around the house. My only wish for this would be a larger table top option (for all my big projects) and the potential ability to adjust with only one hand (almost like an ironing board). While the pin is easy to remove, you wouldn’t want to adjust the table height with anything delicate on top. Its not difficult to adjust, but that would be my only other suggestion to improve.Overall, I LOVE the table and recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it!
