This clear magsafe case has worked great for my kid’s iPhone 17 as it’s protected that almost-thousand-dollar phone from breaking in a couple drops already (that I witnessed) and allows them to put their anime stickers on their phone back and allowing those to show through–for the most part thanks to the ring. It doesn’t add much thickness to the phone while still being pretty durable and retains good grip on the phone and isn’t made of the slippery plastic we’ve used before. That gives it a solid feel, despite the drops which were usually the phone being bumped off the couch or table.The magnetic ring itself is the the correct spot to keep off-kilter charging heatups non-existent, and all of our magsafe chargers have worked well with it w/o that heat. The only drawback is the fold-out stand, despite being the main draw for the phone, is very uncomfortable on the fingers if used as a hand-hold. The edges don’t have any rounding to them, so the edges bite into the thin skin on the fingers causing discomfort quickly. Definitely a temporary holding spot and not a commuter-holding spot w/o gloves.The stand does well enough as a table stand, but for my daughter’s use, it could be a bit stiffer before collapse or even collapsed as the hinge has weakened a bit to allow a bit of “play” in the hinge.It’s just under $20 as of this writting and I’ve seen it pick up coupons brining it down to around $15. If you need a clear case with these features, I think its still a good value for the money just for the magsafe and protection features. The ring stand is a nice-to-have, but just know going in that its not as finger-hold friendly as a removable popsocket might be for a commuter.

Great case! Just enough purchase in my hand that it feels secure. The kickstand ring works perfectly and folds in completely so that it doesn’t snag going into my pocket. Love that I can still see the color of my phone.
