Setup was a breeze
I accidentally spilled water on my old remote, causing some buttons to stop working. I ordered a replacement remote but felt uncertain about it. To my surprise, once I inserted the batteries and took out the instructions, I discovered that the new remote was already functioning with my Sony TV before I even started setting it up. I’m very pleased with this replacement; the buttons are excellent and highly responsive with my Sony TV.

Perfect for my Sony XBR 49 inch
I have an older Sony Bravia XBR 49X900F from around 2018/2019, and the remote for it is big and bulky. All I use the remote for is to change the input, so I wanted a smaller, sleeker remote for that purpose.This worked perfectly right out of the box with no programming needed.
