Failed shortly after installing
It magnetized and stopped working while we were testing.Magnets are also weak, barely hold themselves up on a metal plate.

I used these to light a led to let me know if I left a garage door open. That worked great. Found that they were durable as I installed it where I thought there was plenty of clearance. Turned out that when it went around the 90 there wasn’t. Tore it off the door, but the switch stayed intact. The mount area for the screw broke, but that was easy to fix.

Great cost effective switch
Use this contact switch on the door of my airstream camper to sense when the step should come out. Works great just needed a little adjustment to get the contact set. Been working for several months now happy with the purchase!
