    Amazon Basic Smart Plug
The Amazon Basics Smart Plug is simple, reliable, and easy to use. Setup through the Alexa app takes just a couple of minutes, and it connects seamlessly to control lights, fans, or other small devices with voice commands or schedules. The compact design doesn’t block nearby outlets, and it responds quickly when turning devices on or off. For a budget-friendly option, it delivers excellent performance and convenience. I love it so much I bought 4 of them

    Excellent Smart Plugs
This is my review of Amazon’s Smart Plugs (2 pack)I have been using “smart” devices for a long time, and still remember all the hoops you had to jump through to get them to work properly. These plugs, only work with Alexa devices, and are as close to plug-and-play as it gets. When I ordered them, I had the option to set them up before they were delivered. I did, and when I received them and plugged them in, they were ready to go.One of the plugs, I use with a lamp that I turn on/off with voice commands, and the other, I use with a routine I wrote that turns on lights 1/2 hour before sundown, and turns them off 1/2 hour after sunrise. They work with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and although you might have a newer wireless router, most allow use at this setting. In addition, they are controlled though the Alexa app, and no other software or hubs are required. After several months, they are working without any problems.Good reliable plugs, that are easy set up. I plan on picking up a few more.

    Amazon smart plug in
I bought the basic Amazon Smart Plug to automate a few lamps around my house, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and use. From the moment I plugged it in, the Alexa app detected it instantly and walked me through a quick setup that took less than a minute. The plug responds immediately to voice commands, routines, and schedules. I love being able to say, “Alexa, turn on the lamp,” especially when my hands are full or I’m walking into a dark room. It also works great for automating holiday lights and my coffee maker in the mornings. The design is compact enough that it doesn’t crowd the second outlet, and it’s been totally reliable—no random disconnects or glitches. If you already have Alexa devices, this plug integrates seamlessly.Overall, this is a simple but incredibly useful smart home upgrade. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dip their toes into smart home devices without spending a lot or dealing with complicated setups.

Simple, compact smart plug that works well with Alexa
This Amazon Basics Smart Plug has been a great addition to my home setup. I mainly use it with Alexa to control my cat’s litter box, and once it is running, it works reliably every time. This device could be used for multiple different appliances, lights, and anything else that needs to be plugged in. The it has stayed connected, and voice commands respond almost instantly. I also like being able to schedule it to turn on or off automatically, which makes daily routines easier. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because setup was not as easy as I hoped. It took me a couple of tries to get it to connect to Wi-Fi, and I had to reset it once before it finally worked. Once I got it paired, though, it has not dropped the connection since. It also has a little indicator light on it.The plug itself is compact, so it does not block the other outlet, and it has a very simple design. Overall, it is a dependable, budget-friendly smart plug that integrates well with Alexa devices and app.

Works great — but Eero users, avoid this one setup mistake!
I spent hours trying to get this Matter smart plug to connect to my Echo Show 5 (Gen 2), and it kept failing during setup no matter what I tried. The problem wasn’t the plug — it was my Eero 7 guest network. If you’re using an Eero system, do NOT set up this plug on the guest network. Eero’s guest network isolates devices, which completely breaks Matter onboarding. The plug, your phone, and your Alexa device all need to be on the same main 2.4 GHz network, not the guest one. As soon as I connected everything to my main Eero network, the plug paired instantly with Alexa using the Matter code. The plug itself works great once it’s set up, but I wish this guest-network limitation was clearer in the instructions. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid the hours of troubleshooting I went through!

Helps to automate uses of product in your home, I love it
Absolutely an awesome product especially if you are a Prime Alexa user. It super easy to use and very intuitive. It is compatible with the Alexa app controls or by voice to your Alexa commands. Within your app, you can add timers which is convenient and can be used whether you are home or away. I already have one and when I saw the good price for the value of this product to get 2, I jumped at the opportunity. I attached it to other lights in my home. For me it was as easy as plugging in the plug and naming it (for user commands and identifying which item you are using). For me the convenience of this product is very useful, hands free, and hassle-free in and around my home to use various things with ease. The smart plugs are sturdy and durable.I highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase again, to use for other home automation items in my home.

Lo utilicé para hacer una lampara “inteligente” y funcionó con mi echo spot de alexa.

This smart plug works right out of the box with HomeKit and Home Assistant. It’s very simple to set up and use however you like. It’s ideal for turning lamps on and off, but you can really use it for anything that plugs into an outlet.

I bought 3 of these smart plugs for my Christmas lights. They were easy to set up with Alexa, you can rename the plugs to whatever you want or keep them as is. No more struggling to get behind the Christmas tree to turn the lights on and off everyday. You can simply say the command, “Alexa turn on first plug”, or you can schedule them to turn on and off at specific times using the Alexa Home app. Now that the Christmas decor is down I am excited to find a place to repurpose these plugs in my home.
