I’ve always wanted a digital scale so I can measure out how much food I’m actually eating and this works really well.It requires two AAA batteries, which are included by the way, and it’s extremely simple to use.There are several measurements from grams, to liquid measurements, and they even differentiate normal liquids from milk as milk can be heavier based on the fats within the milk. It’s amazing that it came with such precise and varied measurements.If you are using a measuring cup or a bowl to measure something into, you can place that on to the scale beforehand and settle the weight so it doesn’t add the weight of the cup or bowl into the weight of what you are measuring.The scale is a little small but overall it works really well. It measures down to the gram and as far as I can tell it’s as accurate as it gets. I recommend it.

I compared the measurements to my usual scale and this one is accurate. However, I wouldn’t recommend this scale for kitchen use or any use that involves liquids. The plastic edges around the stainless steel top (which, by the way, is a very thin sheet of stainless steel) pull away from the sides and I worry liquids will get in. The scale is very lightweight. The batteries were included.

While the size and functionality of this digital kitchen scale is similar to others that I have, what I prefer about this one is the tactile nature of the on and off button. My other one had one button that was for on off and tare, this one has separate buttons for tare, unit of measure, and the on/off button.My previous digital kitchen scale tended to use more battery than it should because you had to hold the on/off button for a few seconds to get it to turn off, and it didn’t always work. This one has a noticeable little click so when you push the off button you know it turns off. This will save the battery life, and overall, the battery usage is very light and the batteries it comes with should last a very long time, even with fairly regular daily use.It is handy, and lightweight, and functions very well. Overall we are very happy with it.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = I love it and/or it meets or exceeds claims.⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great. Meets claims, but may be slightly lacking in non-critical area.⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It’s okay but I don’t love it. Someone might like it. Falls short in a more noticeable area or not for everyone.⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid. Very noticeable shortcomings or issues.⭐ = Nope.
