    Great bass.
    Easy installation, fantastic sound, easy to setup. Great build quality. If you want a little low end fill, without a giant box in the back seat or trunk, this is a terrific solution. Fits incredibly well under the driver’s seat in my first generation Tundra.

    Great bass response for a tight space or clean thumps
    I’ve owned the 8″ and 10″ and they both kick! It doesn’t rattle the metal in your vehicle, which I prefer. It is so slim too!My only complaint is that bass adjustment peripheral is more of an on/off switch. From 0-10% of the turn, it completely turns off the woofer. Then from about 11-17 percent it will adjusts your bass. After 17% the sound is already at maximum. Making the thing useless. I’ve also tried adjusting my Kenwood’s woofer settings to no avail.But, I would totally recommend it. It’s so compact and has a great value. I also love that the amplifier is built in. It competes my sound system without the clutter.

    Great sound but not quite “under-seat” for me.
    Fitment/quality: I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ and it was too big to go under the seat. It’s not really an issue though as I have plenty of room in the cargo area for the speaker. I measured before I purchased either way so this was not a surprise upon installing. I used some heavy duty velcro to secure it to the carpet behind my rear seat and it doesn’t move at all. This makes it easier for me to relocate the speaker when I need to. This would also be a great trunk solution for a sedan. The build quality seems very solid and durable. The aluminum housing and metal speaker grill feel sturdy and looks pretty nice too.As for the sound: I couldn’t be happier. I wasn’t looking for booming bass (although this sub will rattle your windows and anything else not securely fastened if you crank it all the way up) But if you’re looking for compact/slim subs then you’re probably in the same boat as me. I have mine dialed in to really round out the sound that my aftermarket stereo system was lacking. I can’t say enough how happy I am to have chosen this one. I really look forward to driving now because of the sound quality of the stereo in my Jeep. I didn’t use the remote level control since my head unit has sub level and EQ built in so managing the sound from the receiver was a better option for me. Installation was standard like installing any other amp. It took me less than an hour to do myself.

    Sounds pretty good!
    I installed the USS10 in a 97 Ford Ranger yesterday, and I’m more than happy with it. This is a compact sub, and is not intended to perform like a sub in a larger box. For a factory system, it does provide a very nice fill of mid and low bass when the current system sounds hollow, and is all highs. I’m running it with a cheap JVC 180BT head unit.If you’re putting it in a Ranger, it’s not going to fit under the front seats. I have a regular cab, so it had to go on the back wall.You’ll need an 8 gauge amp install kit.

    Worked for awhile.
    Easy install. When it worked it sounded great. One day out of the blue something internally came loose causing the circit board to short out. Was unrepairble.

    I would leave 0 stars if I could. I purchased this item to provide some bass in my single cab Silverado. It is mainly a farm rig I’ve been keeping pristine, so it doesn’t get daily use. I had originally planned on an under the seat installation, but once the product arrived I realized it just wouldn’t fit. From there, I mounted the Subwoofer on the hump between the driver and passenger floorboards. Once installed I was impressed with the fullness of the sound and the bass it added, but this was short lived. On its first real road trip, I played it continuously for maybe an hour and not even close to max volume. I was also conservative on my amp settings because I mostly listen to country and rock music. I stopped to fuel up, and when I turned the vehicle back on the subwoofer had become so damaged that it clipped constantly and was unbearable to listen to. I reached out through Amazon to try to rectify the problem and was issued a return label. Once I shipped the product back I never heard another word. No replacement, no reimbursement, nothing. My recommendation would be to go another route or you’ll be out $150 just like me.

    best boom for the buck, better than the rw10ca by just a tad deeper bass
    i bought both the rc10ca and the uss10 to test in my Jeep Wrangler 4 door. i first tested the rc10ca under the driver side facing up, then again facing down with brackets to elevate it from touching the floor. i retested same with the uss10 and found the uss10 to play the lows deeper and louder but a small margin. being that the uss10 fits exact and perfectly under the driver seat and was able elevate it upwards to have it facing down; i feel this is the best deal for anyone with jeep wrangler looking for strong bass enough for most music lovers. prior to this setup i had a 1000wats rms alpine amp powering a vented 10″ subwoofer facing into the trunk, but i only listened to music to a certain loudness… the uss10 matched the loudness perfectly fine and able to get up in loudness above my normal listening levels, thats a win situation for me.

    I picked up 2 of these for my wrangler tj and they definitely work good but I’d call these mid woofers before I’d call them sub whoofers. I understand that because they are a slim design they won’t hit hard low notes but I was definitely expecting alot more hit from these. Will probably end up pulling them out of the vehicle and sacrificing some cargo space for a proper sub and amp.
