    Works well
I’m so happy I decided to purchase a rechargeable model. This model has been working very well. It delivers accurate readings. I’ve checked heart rate with both manual apical, carotid and wrist heart rates and they match pretty much spot on. The display is small, which is expected with a small device, but readab!e and I like the blue color of the readings. The app works well recording readings also. Its very easy to use. I like the the rhythm readout as well and alerts you to irregularities. It also has a beeping alert if the readings are too high or too low. I think it was a good value for the money. One charge lasts months for me. Granted I don’t use it everyday, but it still holds a great charge. Its easy to charge and a chord is included. Ive owned this for about 6 months now. I am very pleased with my purchase.

    Update-actually very good
Thought the device was broken as it would no longer charge. Messaged the company and got a response back promptly. Device will NOT charge if the USB adapter puts out too high a voltage, they recommended (and it worked) is to use the USB port on a computer. Device has a long battery life (once you figure out the charging issues), syncs easily with my iPhone, and based on comparing it to the devices that have been used on me in hospital settings (I took it with me a couple of times), it is accurate. The device gets one of its stars for the prompt response from the company when I contacted them about my issue with the device.

    Waste of money
I have only used this product them five times since purchase in 2023. It no longer works. The recharge battery I guess no longer can hold a charge. Cell phone batteries last longer than two years. The product still looks new like it is out of the box and it does not work. This is staring to become a norm for product sells on amazon that are not made in America.

Works well with CPAP monitoring – but first unit had Bluetooth issues
The device is exactly as described—it works well and provides accurate data. I use it nightly in conjunction with my CPAP to monitor sleep metrics. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but the first unit I purchased on May 28 malfunctioned, the Bluetooth pairing to the app stopped working entirely. I reached out to Customer Support but received no response. After attempting various troubleshooting steps (including resetting the device, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, etc.) I requested a replacement on July 21.The replacement unit has been working without any issues. I believe the malfunction was limited to that specific unit and not indicative of a widespread problem. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product and appreciate its utility when functioning as intended.

    Lo recomiendo
Tuve un problema pulmonar y los compré para llevar un control de mi saturación. Lo recomiendo, es efectivo y más por su aplicación, que me permite comparar las lecturas anteriores.

    Handy instrument.
a handy instrument for keeping track of heart rate and oxygen percent. The addition of the iPhone App shows and keeps the readings on the iPhone or can be backed up on the cloud. Storage on the iPhone has two months of readings without backup to the cloud.

  7. Jimbo

    Worked except for thin finger
It seems to work well but not with a thin finger (women’s). Using a thin finger the device turned off within seconds of starting.

Best SpO2 meter I have found.
It works great, does what they said it would. Best part is you can recharge it!

This is one tasty little device!First up, the oximeter relies on an internal rechargeable battery so needs plugging into a USB socket first thing. Full charge was attained in 150 mins, during which time a little blue icon skipped around the screen indicating charging status. Once this stops you’re done. Please note that the device cannot be used during charging. The device is activated by sticking your finger in – it’s that simple. Pop your finger out and it shuts down automatically. There are the usual options to set a bleep and hi/lo thresholds, the key setting being ‘mode’, which can be ‘continuous’ or ‘spot check’. If you are going to carry this around in a pocket then the spot check mode is what you’ll need. In this mode popping a finger in gives 30 secs of readings that are averaged and stored in one of 12 memories in circular fashion, and then you get a little summary message.First time round I was alerted to a possible irregular rhythm so I cross-checked with the CheckMe ECG monitor from the same manufacturer to find nothing out of the ordinary (see my review of this). A second spot check recording yielded a reassuring ‘no irregularity found’, so I shall suggest that the manufacturer needs to tweak the algorithm a little – it’s a bit too sensitive. In continuous mode, and when linked to a smart phone running the free ViHealth app using Bluetooth, you get rather splendid graphical output of both oxygen saturation and heart rate in real time with more summary statistics than you can shake a stick at. I’ve never seen such detailed oximetry data before, and browsing through your history on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis is a breeze. You can also annotate these records, which I find useful.I’ve only had the device a few hours but I’m able to compare it with two other devices, one being a data logging unit the other being a basic but well-known market leader. All give very similar readings but the market leader tends to be a bit hit and miss in determining a pulse and oxygen level. In contrast this device settles into consistent readings after a few seconds, and this gives me more confidence.Data logging is something I’m keen on because I’m trying to monitor my oxygen levels as I fall asleep. Ideally this device would bung the data into memory to be retrieved later but this doesn’t appear to be a feature. You can eyeball single figures for your last 12 sessions in terms of what are called ‘stable readings’ for oxygen level and heart rate (I presume these are averages) but you can’t elect to upload these sessions to the app. Instead, you need to have your smart phone on for the duration and within Bluetooth range. A small niggle really.Considering these are selling at £37.99 you get a well-made and reliable device with heaps of functionality that puts them into the five star bracket for smart phone users, but I also rather like the spot check mode which will prove useful for those out and about and doing sporty things.
