Literal lifesaver
I CANNOT recommend this highly enough. We tried so many different sound machines, the hatch, Momcozy, etc.. they all had many different sounds and sometimes works, but for this only has 1 and it is somehow bulletproof. We have bought like 4 of these and two of the original ones. We switched to this one because although it’s a little more expensive, it’s rechargeable, has a light, is just as loud, way more portable, easier to use and has the same timer options but more importantly just an On and Off option so it doesn’t always have to be restarted. It could be triple the cost and still be worth it. Again, cannot recommend this highly enough

Amazing battery life!
I was skeptical at first of buying this because I had the original and that one was trash. I had to return the original twice and both times I got sent a faulty product so I gave up on this brand but when this one came out, I decided to give it another try. This new version by far exceeds the quality of its predecessor. The battery life is endless and I can’t explain how because it’s such a tiny little thing. I’m grateful for this little machine and it’s ability to keep my baby asleep.

Game changer for sleepless nights!
My husband and I recently welcomed a new puppy into our home, and we were surprised at how challenging potty training and the 2-4 am wake-ups could be. It felt like having a newborn all over again. After trying lullaby videos with limited success, I came across this baby shusher and decided to try it. To my amazement, this product worked wonders for our little fur baby, helping him sleep soundly through the night until his morning feeding at 8 am. It has indeed been a game-changer and well worth the investment. Our furry family member loves it so much that he taps it with his nose when it’s time for sleep, signaling me to turn it on, and then quickly drifts off to sleep. Not only is it great for human babies, but it also works wonders for our little fur baby. We love it!

Great sound muffler!
We loved our firefly portable shusher! Have used it every night since we brought our little one home and it’s been about 18months. The battery life was amazing going constant with no light for about 3 nights initially. Over time though the battery has worn down, we get about 11hrs out of it now with the light off at a constant. This shusher has really saved us, muffling startling noises (like neighborhood fireworks) and the cats bickering at night. We highly recommend this shusher!

Love this product
I used to have to use YouTube to play the “shh” sound for my oldest when she was a baby, so when I discovered the original shusher made this product, I was SO EXCITED! This last for hours and multiple uses. Sound is great. I wish you could dim the light, but I just don’t use the light. Overall a great product and super easy to use. Gets the job done and keeps baby asleep all night!

Has its good and bad points
Does it shush? Yes.Is it better? Kinda.This thing is tiny. Almost laughably so. I didn’t think it would be able to compare with the original, but I gave it a shot. Here’s what I found:It shushes for extended times (30, 60, 90 min options) or ‘indefinitely’ (read until the battery dies or you turn it off). That’s great! Love it!I don’t know about you, but I use my shusher mostly for bedtime. When it’s dark. All the buttons are flush with the surface so you have no idea no idea where the buttons are until you find the power button. Most items nowadays have a pip that sticks out so blind people can find their way through touch. Nothing that convenient here. To turn it in you gotta hold down the power button, which doubles as the ‘choose duration’ button. I miss the turn dials of the original.The instructions are really poor. No words, just symbols. And there’s a pause button? Why?It has a built in light. Honestly I don’t care for the light. It ALWAYS comes on when you turn it on. No memory setting to remember how you had it last time there. When you have an infant that gets distracted or woken up by every little thing, the default ‘light-turns-on’ thing ain’t so great, especially halfway through the night.The sound can go from pretty quiet to decently loud, but chances are likely that you’re hanging it from its cord so it won’t be as loud as you thought it would be. It at least remembers which volume you used last.USB C rechargeable. The battery lasts more than 12 hours, cause it kept going for almost two full (10 hour) nights. Again, that’s awesome.I wish they would accept some consumer feedback and come out with a version 2 of this. I’d consider buying it if they addressed the issues I listed.

This is awesome. I take care of a kid that has to be shushed to sleep. I gave this to his mom to make her life easier ( and mine) . It plugs in a lasts all night. No WiFi or YouTube shushing required.

Not a good as the original
The settings are not as good as the original and costs more too. The buttons are confusing (I’m a 31f so I’m not dumb to tech). The lights and sound would come on at the same time. The volume would scare my baby awake instead of soothe him all the way to sleep. This did not work for my family. It’s a great idea, poor design

Our 5mo settled instantly when we played the other brand shusher. We went through 3 of them in 4 months as the quality is shocking. 1 small drop and the shushing mechanism breaks.I decided to try this as a replacement, and so glad we did! It charges quickly, runs without a timer if you want & the light is just bright enough to help at night without waking you completely. The clip is also so handy rather than a wrist strap.Great quality vs value.

This was recommended to me by my son’s massage therapist. He responded well to being shushed to calm down and we really enjoyed this item. It worked like a charm and we would hang it just outside the bassinet for him and it would run all night. Definitely recommend!
