2 options to test for accuracy
The 2 in 1 design is nice to double check, but as far as functionality & accuracy, I received a 98.5 from my forehead and a 99.5 from my ear, even though I am not feverish. The screen is clear & easy to read. It was not invasive to test either way, so I’m sure that my kids wont give a problem allowing me to test them when they aren’t feeling well. It is nice that it comes with the 2 batteries required, as well as a carry pouch. Great value for the price.

Everything about this pos is great except where it matters it’s not accurate! I’ll just share the pictures of it and my basal body thermometer. Yeah it shows a fever on my son but a couple degrees matter! I changed out the batteries just to be sure they were good and still inaccurate. I used this last month when my husband and myself had some body aches and where shivering and it read Normal. After we felt better my kids got sick and I used this then pulled out the basal body and they were burning up my daughter had a 103 temp she was dizzy and this read 98.9. If you want to give your kid a toy sure but kinda expensive for that.
