Good hub for Tuya devices, easy setup, but range could be better
I got this MOES Zigbee & Bluetooth Mesh Gateway to connect my mix of Tuya smart plugs, lights, and sensors. Setup was quick – plug it in, add to the Tuya/Smart Life app, and it found all my devices fast. No wiring, no hassle. Supports up to 128 devices, which is plenty for my house. Voice control with Alexa and Google works fine, and local scenes run smooth.It handles both Zigbee and Bluetooth well, so I don’t need separate hubs. Stable most of the time, no big drops.Only gripe – the range isn’t great. Some sensors farther away connect slow or need a repeater. In a bigger home, you might want extra mesh devices. Also, it only works with Tuya/MOES stuff, not other brands.Overall, solid for the price if you’re in the Tuya world and your house isn’t huge. Does what it says, but not perfect on coverage. Happy enough!

Does not help with switches to connect to network
Junk. Was supposed to help with other switch connections but it won’t work. At least it stays connected to the network, unlike all the other MOEs products.

Works well enough
I already had another type of Moes Zigbee hub, but picked this one up to keep some bluetooth lights connected perpetually, and it works as well as I was hoping it would.The device itself refused to pair with my bluetooth lights which was disappointing initially, but they eventually showed up as an “association” automatically with no intervention on my part, as they have been previously paired in the Smart Life app. This kind of opaque network propagation is not ideal, but it works for now.
