Great security Camera’s. Highly recommend.
Did a lot of research on various security systems. I found this one and decided to give it a try. What I was looking for was easy set up, cost effective, high quality, video recording capability without a monthly subscription (capable with micro SD card), alarm option while I am on vacation (motion sensor). The application is top notch, super easy to use once you get used to where everything is. I love how I can go into the camera, look at the video playback, and find where motion was detected and when. It also takes a snapshot/picture/sends an alert every time motion is detected which is nice. I will say this company and security cameras are an A+. I absolutely love them. Easy install/set up, as it took me 20 minutes to sync all 4 cameras AND install. Be sure to fully charge each camera before set up, as some are fully charged and others not. I like the battery life which seems to be about 3-4 months so far (rechargeable which is another perk). I will be eventually upgrading to the solar option from the same company, so I don’t have to take the cameras down to charge, but for now, I don’t mind pulling out my 6 ft ladder. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid security system with the options I called out (my mother recently purchased 2 cameras and loves them as well).

Great camera with great features.
I bought these cameras a while back in March because we had purchased the indoor cameras, and we loved them so much that we needed more security cameras in our home, that we decided to just add the other cameras that are from the same brand. These cameras turned out to be amazing and work so well for what we needed them. I also like that they are rechargeable and we don’t have to be buying batteries for them. What I like the most is that you can monitor all your cameras at once from the app. you can choose if you want to just see one of the cameras, or you have the option to see all of them at the same time in real time. The response time to open the app and show the live feed is quick. Also, for the price, the camera quality is amazing and VERY clear. Very easy to use, very easy to set up, everything is straight forward! definitely love it!

Pleasantly surprised at the quality
Given the low price, I was not expecting much from these cameras. But I found the video quality to be excellent and it seems like the battery life is going to be very good. Set up was very easy. I had questions about how to set up the video stream on my desktop PC, and customer support responded in less than 24 hours with some very good information. The app works perfectly on my android phone and my iPad. I currently have two of these cameras set up outside to view wildlife. Motion detection instantly sends notifications to my email. I love the option to quickly switch from IR mode to full color at night.

Decent relatively inexpensive solar powered surveillance cams
These are pretty nice cameras. They have decent daytime and nighttime picture quality. As might be expected, they do have a problem with distant lights at night, like headlights causing some flare in the video, sometimes to the point where you cannot see anything but the flare. In addition, even though the connection range is good, they do seem to take a little long to connect locally. Mine are around 50-60 feet from my nearest access point. Usually it’s around 4-5 seconds, but that seems like a long time if you are hearing something and you want to look at it. I like the solar energy source.. it’s always fully charged. Generally they seem to be a good deal for the money.

Great cameras but app needs work
UPDATE: I’ve had these cameras for a couple of months now so I wanted to provide an update. The cameras still hold a charge a long time which is good because reattaching them to the base is still an issue because of the cheap plastic. The picture produced by the camera is very good, even at the lowest setting. The cameras are very responsive and activate quickly. Unfortunately, the app is not very good and if anything it seems to have gotten worse. It takes about 10 minutes average before you will get a notification from the app. Both cameras require multiple tries to access the app. There is always an error message about a poor signal even though the camera that has the biggest issue is about 20 ft from the router and I don’t have this issue with any other cameras or connected items. If you get an alert it will literally take multiple tries and about 15 minutes to access the camera so basically it is pointless. The cameras are 4 stars but the app is a 2 at best. I wish there was another app option because it ruins the cameras.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the 2-pack of outdoor cameras and have had them about 2 weeks. They seem to be well built and are easy to set up. I had an issue with the camera bases that was addressed quickly after I contacted customer support via email. More on that later. The camera images are quite good, even in standard definition. They seem to be very sensitive and pick up motion quickly even on the low setting. The cameras have a bright spot light at night. I’m not sure if you can completely disable it as I could not find a setting that does. Night vision seems to work quite well and I haven’t noticed any difference in motion sensing. I’m not crazy about the camera bases, which are completely plastic. I have doubts about longevity especially if exposed to sunlight and you also have to maneuver quite a bit to get them in the correct position. The battery life seems good – I think they will need to be charged monthly based on my current battery usage. Overall, I give the cameras a solid 4 out of 5 stars with the camera base being the negative point. The app could be great but as it is now it simply is not. Before I mention the problems with the app, I want to point out that it looks good and there are quite a few options to allow customization. Best of all it does not hound you to purchase cloud storage or upgrades. They also don’t sell your info nor do they require excessive permissions. But there are some significant issues with the app. There is anywhere from a 5 to 20 minute delay in notification after motion is detected and it seems to be completely random. The camera records immediately but you won’t get notified. It is not an issue with the Wi-Fi or the settings or my phone, it is just slow. It takes multiple tries to connect with the cameras as it constantly fails at securing an encrypted connection. Again, this seems to be completely related to the app. I have no issues or delays of this kind with any of the other similar cameras or devices I use. If your phone is not connected to the same Wi-Fi as the cameras, you may not be notified at all.Another significant annoyance is viewing events. You have to scroll through a generic timeline to search and then view recorded events. An event only posts as a vertical line on the timeline. There are no thumbnail images or any indication as to what the event is on the timeline. So you really need to first look at the notification messages, which are just thumbnails of the event to find out the time of the notification. There is an option to view on each notification message but that just switches to a live view of the camera, which is pointless unless you are viewing an ongoing event. Once you have located the recorded event you want to view, you then need to switch to the event viewer, scroll through the timeline to find the vertical line that matches the notification time to view that event. Oh and it will likely take 3 or 4 tries before the camera and app actually connect, THEN you can view the event. It is tedious to say the least, and the app constantly loses connection making the whole process frustrating and cumbersome. If the developer improved this task and the app’s ability to connect to the cameras, it would take these cameras to the next level.Overall I would recommend these cameras as long as you don’t need notified right away or need to view events frequently. The cameras seem to be quite good. If you have them installed where they can be easily accessed, then it would probably be faster and far less annoying to view events directly from the SD card. I really hope the developer continues to improve the app because the cameras are really quite good but the app drags them down.* The cameras get 4/5 stars – they lose a point because of the cheap bases.* The customer support gets 5/5 stars – they were prompt, courteous and genuinely seemed to want to resolve the problem.* The app gets 3 stars – mostly because they don’t hound you to upgrade and it does not demand excessive permissions but there is definitely room for improvement, especially the event viewing system.

Excellent cameras for the price!
Setup was stupid easy, the video’s super clear, even at night. The motion alerts are on point — not going off for every little thing. The spotlight and siren are loud too, and I can talk through the app like a walkie-talkie lol. Battery’s holding up great and they survived a few rainstorms already. Honestly, solid deal for the price 👌.
