There are not many of these styles left
There aren’t many milivolt battery based systems left available,and the one I located was $300, clearly this is a thematically controlled relay for 2 wire systems per the wiring diagram, the fact you can app control it is a plus, and since lux Johnson and Honeywell abandoned their app, and alexa services, beyond nest, which isn’t designed for battery power, this for now is the only game in town. Just one star removed for lack of fahrenheit switchover, which is truly absurd giving its a simple feature, this unit will serve my needs well. Of course.It’ll have to be isolated in the network, since I don’t one hundred and ten percent trust foreign apps or devices. But until something comes into the market. American, which I highly doubt, will happen. Anytime soon, this will have to suffice. I fruit failed to mention, i did not try holding the up and down for several seconds, in many foreign softwares, this does change the fahrenheit, but i’m not sure if this unit we’ll do the same.And I don’t have time to rehook it up and try it

No Fahrenheit settings for US
This is a Tuya based thermostat and can probably be re-flashed with custom firmware found on github. It does NOT support degrees in Fahrenheit on the display as shipped, I am hoping I’ll be able to install custom firmware that does. However Alexa does make the conversion for you.

I thought was for rv thermo since it stated “rv” but it’s specifically only for boiler. They refunded me so I did a vulnerability test for free for them since they let me keep device and I couldn’t hack the esp32 chip without physically connecting to it. So if this does fulfill your needs then get it. It does come with service pins on board so if you are into customizing, you’re able to once you erase original and write your own firmware.
